Great Picture - What's up with the ringing?
I got this camera to replace another one we had that stopped working after 14 months of use. So far this camera is great in terms of picture quality and the movement from my phone is a nice perk.First, the sounds quality is really low when viewing on both my iphone and ipad. I have the volume on both devices all the way up but it's hard to hear.Second, now after a few days there is a high pitched ringing coming from the camera. I've tried several outlets and an extension cord and it's still there. So that's where the bulk of the loss in stars for me comes from. I've decided to order another camera for my son's room and use this one in another room of the house where it doesn't need to be quiet at night with all the ringing.

Absolutely fantastic for the price!
Just received this camera today and I am very impressed. Much wider view than my last one. Perfect clarity with the 1080p. Night vision pops on when lights are off and still gets a good picture. Motorized "BB-8" pans 180*. I wonder how long the motor will last as its a little noisy when it pans but idc. Stationary is fine for me. You can digital zoom on a live feed. The only thing that loses a star is the two-way voice. You sound great on the speaker on the camera but you have to be right up on the camera to hear anyone your recording. Very low volume goes back to you on your phone. Overall very satisfied as I'll order a couple more. Cloud service recording is $69 a year for continuous recording for 7 days on a loop. There is a 15 and a 30 option as well which is more expensive. $6 a month for offsite recording isnt a bad deal.UPDATE: Ok after using this camera for a week or so the only real complaint that I have is the two way mic out is very low volume. If the two way is off, I can hear very well. If someone doesnt have their face right in the camera, then its impossible to hear them. Not sure if there is a setting I can change but it kinda makes the two way useless if its only one way. Also, the cloud fees are PER camera. If you have 4 cameras then it's way too expensive. Overall It's still a great value and the picture quality is fantastic.

It does the job
I’m using this to keep tabs on a handicapped sibling. The picture is really crisp and clear and you can zoom, although you loose clarity. You can get a good range of motion, but it has limits - it’s certainly not a 360 degree camera. When you are moving the camera with your phone, the response is somewhat laggy, but who cares. A little patience is required here. The sound seems good, but when I’m trying to talk to him over his TV he can’t seem to hear me. We’ll have to work on that. All in all, a pretty good little camera for the money.

It does the job, but...
can be annoying and fail on you when you most need it.I bought this right after my wife and I adopted a dog to monitor his barking while we're both out.It ended up being more annoying than helpful, and I can give more details later but let me describe some other things first:** The App - EyePlus **The app that this camera use offers a 30 day trial for their cloud service, that you cannot cancel sooner. That means you cannot really test the product the way it will behave, during the time you may still be able to return it, if you're not planning to subscribe to a cloud service as I wasn't. I bought a large SD card and installed on it and that's it.Overall the app is good, not great, but easy to use after a few minutes exploring the options.- Updated on 11/29/2018 to add screenshots of the app** Cloud service prices **Here are the costs for Cloud Service with continuous or alarm only recording by the amount of history it will keep:Continuous for 7 days: 6.99$/month or 83$/year (currently 69$/year)Alarm only for 7 days: 4.99$/month or 59$/year (currently 49$/year)Continuous for 15 days: 9.99$/month or 119$/year (currently 99$/year)Alarm only for 15 days: 7.99$/month or 95$/year (currently 79$/year)Continuous for 30 days: 19.99$/month or 239$/year (currently 199$/year)Alarm only for 30 days: 15.99$/month or 191$/year (currently 159$/year)The app offers no minimal cloud service for free, and it's pretty annoying the notifications about trial offers and the ads every time you open the app.** Setting up**The first issue I had was trying to setup the camera through Wifi. Even after reading reviews online for similar cameras and software (Eyeplus app), and following advice of not using passwords with special characters, the setup did not work. I've even setup a new guest wifi network only for this camera but it wouldn't complete registering the device while defining the wifi details. I've then decided to connect the camera through a network cable, then I managed to get the camera to update its software and reboot. While still using the network cable, I was able to setup the wifi settings and reboot, then it finally worked successfully.** Accounts for mobile remote access **I was not able to setup my wife to login with her own email. It ended up creating an account, but as per their design you can only register a device to only one account. The purpose was just to allow her to access it with her own account, but I've ended up logging into the app with the same user password to mitigate this problem. It looks like after a recent software update, there's a way to add family members but I've not tested it.** Notifications **You can enable Sound, Motion or both. Then you can define the frequency (receive all, summary every 1,5,10,30 or 60 minutes) and also define a schedule for the notifications and the delivery preferences. As mentioned earlier, since our need was to monitor our puppy barking while away, we activate sound only. There was no option to fine tuning the alerts (not even low/medium/high), but it was fairly decent in our testing. The camera was right next to the dogs' crate and it would notify for not so loud sounds like him moving, but would notify fairly quick the barking. I was using the iOS version of the app.** Experience after the Cloud Trial expired **While the Cloud trial is active, the device would start playing the live feed from the cloud instead of playing from the SD Card. What happened is that once the 30 day trial expired, the camera would then start to function the way I was planning to use it, playing it from the SD card. I've noticed that the camera started crashing every time I tried to access the live feed when receiving an alarm. This caused the camera to reboot and with some luck come back. Since I use this for watching my dog, check if/why he's barking, it ended up making him even more upset because he would notice the sound of the camera rebooting. At some point I've decided to just gave up on trying to access it and only keep an eye on the frequency of the alerts. But if you think about it, you bought a web camera because you want to see it, right?** Others **There's also a very high pitch noise when this camera is on that bothers me at the point to turn it off some days (and accidentally forget it off).** Smart Home **A recent update added support to Alexa, but since I'm not a cloud subscriber I have not tested it.** Overall **Owning this since May 19, 2018 I honestly do not recommend the product.I works, sends push notification, the image quality is good, the night vision is also decent, browsing the video history also works ok, but due to this issue while trying to access and crashing, causing my dog to be annoyed and knowing there's something going on, for me, I'm planning to find another camera. At the time of my purchase, I've payed 39.99$, maybe with the current price of 19.99$ is a good deal if you can tolerate the crashing issues.

Good camera.
I like the ease of use of Closeli compatible products. It would be nice if human detect actually worked though. My biggest complaint about this camera is the microphone. It records a lot of ticks and static. The speak feature is only so so. You need an optimal connection for it to really work, and it's still somewhat difficult to understand what is being said. The picture is beautiful, and with a good connection, it pans smoothly. The problems, more often than not, appear to result from speed/quality of my connection. I just need better phone service.

Very easy to use with very wide view range
Pretty good security camera with very wide view range. I setup to use it as my doggy cam to monitor our I two dogs. My kids love to use the two way talking function to talk to the dogs. We can see dogs confused when they hear kids voice thru the camera for the first time. It sends notifications to my phone when it detects motions and I can easily move the camera with finger on the view window on the phone. Very easy to use.

Ads in apps and misleading update popup will install new app if you let it.
Good camera we put a 64GB sd card in to avoid monthly cloud fee worked great. One hiccup was every so often the camera would restart and when it does it turns 360 deg and wakes up the sleeping baby after finally getting him to sleep. Then the ads started in the app now a update dialog pops up every time the app starts if you run it it will install another app. Luckily my security on my android phone stopped it. Would not buy again. Have not found a way to us another app to avoid their app.
