I bought this dash cam hoping for a reliable setup with good video quality and coverage, but unfortunately, it hasn’t met expectations. Installation wasn’t too difficult, but the instructions were vague, especially when it came to setting up the WiFi and app. The app itself is buggy and often disconnects.The video quality is underwhelming. While it advertises 4K for the front camera, the footage isn’t as clear as expected license plates are hard to read unless the car is very close. The rear and interior cameras are also lower quality and struggle in low light.My biggest concern is that the camera sometimes fails to record or turns off without warning. I noticed several instances where video files were missing or incomplete, which defeats the purpose of having a dash cam at all.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this model. It has potential, but the performance and reliability just aren’t there.

I had purchased the 2.5K version of the dash cam about a year ago and have been happy with it. However, when I saw the 4K version, I decided to get this dash cam for my other vehicle. The purchase came as expected with the unit and the accessories identified. Installation and setup didn’t take long to complete. It’s only been about a week using the dash cam so I am still learning all of the features and figuring things out. No complaints so far.The video quality and ease of use is clear and very good. It is an excellent purchase for the price. I am going to reinstall this 4K dash cam in my kids’ car and put the 2.5K version in my car until I decide to buy another one. Knowing that this dash cam is there helping my young kid drivers is very comforting. I’ve heard horror stories from other parents where their child was in an accident or someone rear-ended their car and tried to deny it.

Nice size. Wifi connection is buggy but it worked after a couple tries. I used it a week and liked it. I tried to download a video. Wifi was very buggy to connect and it took a few tries again with my Iphone 12. As far as quality of videos they were good enough. I could care less about GPS positioning. I don't like the power supply. It only uses the old cigarette lighter plug. I attempted to download a video over WIFI. The camera froze in download mode. All the buttons stopped working. It would not turn off even when unplugged. I didn't like the app. It only worked with the camera in download mode. For $40 bucks, well it was worth a try. i only need it to work.

Camera was easy to install, the plastic tool used to tuck the wire is very helpful. It starts right up every time the car starts and turns off when car is turned off. The 4k quality I’m not so sure about. In the day its pretty clear, can’t read license plates but whatever. At night its not so clear, especially the interior cam it catches absolutely nothing which is important for my safety as a lyft driver. It is a good size, and I barely see it behind my rearview mirror.Giving 3 stars because the first one I bought came literally broken in 2 pieces. They sent me a replacement in 2 days and I appreciate that. Other reason is because the app worked once during the initial set up, but hasn’t worked since. So, in case of an accident, I don’t think I’ll be anle to just view it in the app. Might have to take the SD card out and find a way to get that footage.**Almost forgot**I’m pretty sure the 24/7 parking monitor or recording feature doesn’t work. The camera literally turns off the moment you turn the car off.

So far so good. I wish that the inside facing camera had more angular freedom, but that's okay. The fewer moving parts is usually better since it means less things to break. That inside facing camera should probably be a wide angle camera for next time, as this one is not enough to see everyone in the car at the same time.The main camera and rear camera are good. No issues there. I had more than enough line for an install in a small sedan. The power cord and rear camera wire may need to be longer for a truck though.The quality of the video on the screen doesn't look too great, but I'll update the review when I view the footage on a computer. The footage is probably quite smooth.

Deceitful product. Front camera records in 1080p 30fps not 4k... Rear and interior cameras record at 480p 30fps not 1080p! I can only assume the Sony Starvis claim is also a complete lie. The rear and interior cameras are completely useless in such low quality. The "back up" camera is a joke. Yes I checked my video settings, downloaded the videos over WiFi and even directly transfered them from the SD card to my computer. I wish I spent the money and purchased a nicer one from a reputable brand.

This is a good dash camera if you are not planning to wire the rear mounted camera.Dash cam image quality is good at this price point. The rear camera included in this kit is very poor quality.In order to hook up rear camera included, the main unit has to be powered ONLY via cigarette lighter harness.If you’re planning to hardwire it for 24/7 parking monitoring, the rear camera will NOT function.Therefore even though it lists parking monitoring as a feature but fails to inform that can only be done with main unit camera.
