5mw 405nm Purple Light Laser Pointer Pen with Star Cap Head

This is supposed to be a laser pointer with star cap head but it didn't include the star cap and the actual point is quite wide when used at a distance so it is almost more a purple flash light then a laser pointer. The point is decent if you are close and the cats were amused by it but if you want a true laser pointer this isn't the one to get. And if you want the fun star cap this isn't it either. Would return but it is just too much effort and at least the cats like it.

I purchased this as a starburst laser. It's supposed to have many ways of creating a different display. The only thing this thing does is single-point purple laser. There was no "starburst" attachment and no way for it to turn into one. I have a previous one with green light that I purchased from a different company that works well as a starburst. This one is not as represented.

It wasn't overly expensive, and I wasn't expecting something amazing. To say that I was STILL disappointed is indeed saying something!It only came with what is in the picture I uploaded - not in the picture advertising the product. No spinning star cap was included as advertised. Only the plain, permanently attached smooth cap. PLEASE do not waste your money on this disappointing product.Pros:1. I only wasted 8 dollars2. This laser pointer took a month to arrive and when it finally did, it did NOT have the star cap with it. It’s just a laser pointer, which is NOT what my son wanted. It was so disappointing waiting that long and not even the right thing! Too cheap to bother sending back. I expected more from an Amazon Choice product!

They pictures for this laser pointer is misleading do not buy this item look for something better if you want a laser pointer to do what it's supposed to do that is why I gave this a one-star buyer beware. Have a blessed day

I would avoid buying this product, it does not come as described. All you get is a laser pointer, YOU DO NOT GET THE STAR CAP that is shown in the picture and is in the product title. They are false advertising and they have removed my early review telling people not to buy this product.

Pointer seems solidly build and the correct spectrum. This pointer excited the phosphorescent particles in glownin the dark items. Kids love to use it as a pen on their glow posters. Under adult supervision of course.
