Q: does it cut off Automatically and come on??

Cody; My unit is Wired Only. You must provide a "Pressure Switch" with "Differential Pressure Adjustment" in order to Adjust " Turn-Off and Turn-on" Pressure that you require. You also should include a Relay, and Fuse. The pressure Switch alone is not Heavy enough to carry the required Amperage of Start-up. Always include a Fuse of rated Start, and Run capacity. boba

Q: Any warranty? I bought it last year and it’s been sitting all winter went to turn it on it runs and dies out after a couple minutes.

Hello;; Your unit appers to have a "Pressure Switch". This switch usually is Adjustable... It is normay set to turn "OFF", at a frequently needed Pressure.. Look at the Incoming Power wires. The switch would be "In Line" before the Compresor motor.

I Know This Is A 2 yr Old Question ,But The Piston Rod Snapped In My VXC8301 6 Months After Installation. Air Horns & Its Not Like I Use Them Everyday....Bad Design. I Called Amazon & Their Sending Me A New One Under Another 1 yr Warranty,You Can Add A 3yr Warranty For A $.

Q: Can I use a one gallon tank?
