Cuts branches like butter
The teeth in this saw are super sharp. it easily cut thick branches of my tree in no time. it's light and i like the guard it comes with for easy storage. Its strong and didn't bend much when cutting. Easy to use

A good saw, especially for the price
This is a good, simple saw. Like the Blue Sandvik one I forgot at a wilderness campsite 20 years ago. Built like they used to be built. The blade retention handle/spring is strong and sturdy. Ditto for the tube steel main assembly and blade rivets. Holds the blade with proper tension and cuts straight. Comes with a Chinesium blade which I don't expect to last. Good and sharp with a proper set on the teeth FOR NOW...these blades have a tendency to dull quickly though. Would gladly pay triple the price for one with a proper Scandinavian or Japanese blade (which I will likely do when this blade wears out), but the saw itself has no flaws that I can see, and I'm hard on stuff!Edit. After roughly a year of hard use, the blade is holding up better than expected. Doesn't cut as fast as Swedish blades, but still pretty good and running straight.

Nice compact bow saw
I really like Fiskars tools. I've only had one break in the 25 years I've been using them. This saw works exactly as expected, sharp, quick and reliable. They have a slightly longer version that I plan on picking up for bigger branches.

Sharp enough to saw through a 3.25 inch in five minutes, but...
I have had a lower branch on my tangelo tree that has been attacking me for 30 years. That is, everything I am douing something on my patio, I would forget to duck under. Although it's (was) thick, a good wind would make it dangerous. I'm no longer young with arm strength, but I was going to have to admit that and "hire" someone for one branch or I was going to have to do this myself. I looked in Amazon for saws, and saw this "Pruning" saw. The price was reasonable, and what sealed the deal was that most of the reviewers mention how sharp it was. I received it yesterday. Today, I confronted the branch. After 15 minutes, it is now a hardscape for the patio (although a photo is good enough). I said you can cut through a three+ inch branch in five minutes. Well, I knew it would have to be cut twice: hence 15 minutes. It was comfortable, but I suggest you wear a glove. Well, wear two gloves. This is really sharp, and the handle, although ergonomic, there are ribs inside the handle that can rub between thumb and palm. I highly recommend this (and the Fiskar's pruning shears for getting the branch and leaves into compostable size). And to think I actually considered a cordless reciprocating saw for three times the price and one that would probably be used two or three times in my remaining years.

Great Little Saw
I purchased this saw for car camping so foldability was not a factor for me. The saw seems to be well-made and is reasonably rugged. The included blade is sharp. However, I also ordered a Bahco deadwood blade at the time of purchase and replaced it. The Fiskars blade is sharp and seems to be of good quality. I like the tightness of the locking lever. I don't think it will ever inadvertently pop loose while sawing. With the Bahco blade, it goes through dead wood like butter and is ergonomically comfortable to use. I have no hesitation recommending this Fiskars saw.

Best saw, best price!
I was looking for a hand saw that would work for a thousand different little jobs, and wow, does this one do exactly that! I was digging out two old entrenched bushes with deep tap roots and could not break them free but I could get this saw at the roots. Three minutes later, the saw did what my "root cutter" shovel blade could not. Then right from that to trimming my extra large Japanese Maple's one errant limb that had been bugging me for the last two seasons -- GONE! Highly recommend this very versatile, very sharp, very handy saw!
