True Latch 8' Telescopic Gate Brace - Wood Privacy Fence Anti Sag Kit - USA Made Brace (Extends 52" - 96" inches, Black)

First time writing a review. Thank you to other reviewers that steered me towards this product. It is high quality and works exactly as advertised. I used a car jack to level the gate and had this installed is less than 10 minutes. It's much easier to install than cables and turnbuckles, plus it looks much better. Great product!

Worked great to help lift my fence gate up. Fairly easy install and nice to have a gate that latches easily again. Like that it’s adjustable. Tish high in price but not many out there I found that is adjustable so it was either this or other ones I didn’t know if they would do the job or not.

Worth every penny! Stabilized my fence door and it’s leveled! Easy to install works great!!!

Have purchased 2 of these gate braces. Very solid and durable. Not only does this brace keep a gate from sagging but it keeps the gate from sagging for years. Contemplating buying a 3rd brace. This company deserves an "attaboy" or "attagirl"!!

12/26 I'm revising my review that is listed below. After the 1st exposure to rain, the devices themselves have started to rust. The manufacturer needs to reexamine the materials that they're using for this device. So not only is the installation hardware faulty, the device itself is of poor quality as well. Still no word from the manufacturer when I contacted them directly about the faulty hardware. Have tried to give them the opportunity to respond but they have failed to do so.We ordered 2 of these devices and they work very well and are much more solid than using cables and turnbuckles. However, plan on visiting a hardware store to replace the installation hardware. The hex screws that came with the devices are low quality and the first screw that I used broke off and the second almost did the same (pictures attached). I went to the hardware store and replaced all the screws with stainless steel hex screws and completed the installation. I sent an email to the company regarding this issue but never received a reply. Otherwise good product.

I had an issue with my side gate being heavy that it would sag and the door knob would not latch properly. The person who made the door kept trying to fix it and it still would not align correctly. I bought this product to aid with this issue and fixed it myself. I have already been using it for three years without ever having to readjust it. It’s still closes great just like the first day I installed it. I purchased another one recently (shown in photo)for my other gate and I’m hoping it’s just as good. My original gate is not shown here, but is similar looking.

So I bought the telescopic version of this because the description said a "pair" and I have a double, drive-thru gate that I needed to rebuild. That's my first complaint, the description was deceiving. My second complaint is the box amazon packed it in was huge and it appeared to me as if the whole thing punched it's way out the end and one of my "pair" was missing, the entire box was pretty much destroyed. The "remaining" brace had a slightly damaged center bracket. So I arranged with amazon to return my purchase as I told them one of the "pair" was missing. They shipped a replacement "pair" and I was to use the box the replacements came in to pack up and ship back the original order. When my replacements arrived I was very surprised to see that there was only one brace in that box too. When I went back to look it up on amazon I noticed that the description had been changed to indicate that a pair meant the two telescopic pieces! To make a long story short, I ended up keeping (and paying for) both braces and sucking up the loss.As for the braces, they work fine and are easy to install and adjust. They absolutely work as advertised and do a good job of helping to add stability to my assembled wooden gates (each gate is 6' by 6'). After the new gates had dried and shriveled (pressure treated wood) I went back and adjusted and since then they've been fine. If I'd known what these were gonna cost me to begin with (since they really weren't a "pair") I doubt I would have spent the money. Having said that, if you're looking for a solution to a sagging gate, these really do work.

I have a 16' rolling gate I made in my fence. It's made of wood and very heavy. The middle of the gate was sagging and I bought two of these. After jacking the fence up to the level I wanted I attached these braces. The gate weighs over 400lbs but this holds it up just fine. After a few months, it is still working flawlessly.
