Nice PVC hot water bottle with 2 covers
I thought I would add some details about my just received Duocai water bottle.I have not used it yet so this is strictly informational from the product packaging. Hence 5 stars which will change if I have any issues. In the package I received one blue hot water bottle with little odor (much less odor than the rubber hot water bottles). The bottle material is described as:Bag body: PVCCover: PP (which I believe is polypropylene). The bottle ships in a plastic cover which also contains the following two covers.1. The rather lavish cream colored fluffy one shown in the product description. This has a Velcro opening to insert remove the bottle. It feels nice and should serve its purpose.2. A very pink fleece cover which has a zipper cover.I would urge the manufacturer to reconsider the pink cover. While I am not necessarily a pink fan this is a particularly vile version of the color that appeals to little girls and far fewer adults. Any other color would be an improvement.Provided you pour accurately into the bottle then the cover only needs to be removed for washing.I noted that the bottle has an expiration date of 20190928. That got me wondering how that date was determined so I did a bit of research. All hot water bottles have a 'daisy wheel'. I will attach a photo explaining more of this. In the center of the wheel is the year of manufacture - on my bottle 2017. So the expiration date is 2 years post manufacture date. Many websites I looked at recommended discarding the bottles annually to be safe. That seems to be a lot of unnecessary landfill and worries my thrifty nature. But my last 2 rubber hot water bottles did fail: most recently as I filled one with boiling water over the sink (perfect) and prior to that after I had filled one and put it under the covers so the bed would be warm - at least it wasn't touching my skin when the seam split but it made for a wet mattress. If giving a hot water bottle to a child or elderly person the annual replacement seems prudent to avoid possible third degree burns and skin grafts.Boiling water is known to perish rubber over time so all hot water bottle tell you not to use boiling water.

Fill 'bed' bottle with an electric water kettle.
For years I have bought hot water bottles in Germany when available (winter season). To my great delight I found this one on Amazon! Not sure why they call it Rubber, because of that description I almost bypassed it. I think it is more like silicone? It doesn't smell where rubber would. It came with 2 super soft covers. To fill these bottles it is easiest to do so with an electric water kettle because they have a pour spout.I only use boiling water and have never spilled water or burned myself. If people would turn down the thermostat, put on a sweater, park their feet on a hot water bottle, they'd safe some money and stay toasty warm! Lol.If I need another one I would buy this model again!

So soft!
Love it! The water bottle has never leaked, and I love the soft cover. It came with a second cover, but it's too small to fit on the bottle, so I don't know what the point of it is. Definitely recommend.

Snug in it's own rug.
The bottle is not your grandmother's bottle. Its thinner and more flexible. I'm sure it's designed that way to slip it into the 2 covers included. Wonderful if you need it under your head for sore neck pain. The covers will keep the water temp for longer period of time.

The covering is very soft, but the water bottle itself is a bit stiff. But a decent product for the price.

Really nice quality, I get cramps all month long and this is really helpful. Has a smell when you first get it out of the package but it goes away after a few minutes

Worth it!
I love this hot water bottle. It stays warm for hours. I use mine all the time! I bought it to use at work so that I wouldn’t have to worry about plugging in a heating pad. I also use it for warmth on cold nights. The only downside is that the “fur” will rub off onto your clothes. But I keep a lint roller on hand so that I dont walk into a meeting looking like a fuzz monster
