Creamy, shiny, nice...some great deeper pinks and reds
I own several of this line of balm stains, and I enjoy them for their nice shine, good pay-off of color, and some durability. I sometimes go to bed and still have a bit of stain from when I used it around dinnertime. I like waking up with a little color on my lips. It's not as glossy as gloss, but has a pretty shine. It's minty in scent and it's very easy to apply due to the crayon tip. The pencil rolls up (you don't need to sharpen.)I am NC42 in color and the HONEY is just like a bit of a shimmer plain balm on me (no color payoff). I've seen swatches of this looking lovely on gals with light lips. If your lips have good pigmentation, this may be a boring choice. I find that the deeper colors, like Sweetheart, are fabulous. I've rebought these. They're really great for affordable balm stains. Revlon: keep this and make more colors.A nice product.UPDATE: I tried the honey and for folks with deeply pigmented lips, this one is a waste of money. No payoff colorwise at all. It doesn't show up at all on me. For lighter lips ,I think it might work well as a nudish-pinky-beigey color. On me, zip. Nothing. Not even much shine. Oh, well. The others that I tired, tho, I still love.

love this brand!
I love this brand of lipstick! I can put it on in the morning and it lasts all day, it's not sticky or tacky and it feels good going on. This is the second one I've purchased, the first is a pinky tone and it's just beautiful and this one is an orange/coral color. I just love it.

I LOVE the rendezvous orange color
i've bought it 8 times on here, after they discontinued it at my local pharmacy. I have classic ivory, natural tan skin. This orange/red lip stain is AMAZING in the wintertime. It is a pop of color when my face is pale from no sunshine. It's old Hollywood orange/red circa Pearl Harbor movie with Kate Beckinsale.I have worn it in outdoor physical labor during 20 degree windy days. My lips are still full and healthy. I'm just starting to try new colors from this line. I tried Unapologetic and it is a magenta pink- not the bright red that was advertised online. Last night, I wore Unapologetic matte lip stain to bed, and I woke up with the color still on my lips! And I'm a side or belly sleeper! Amazing.

The colour is different on lips
I do like this product, but this pink did not look the same colour on my lips as displayed in the photo. The pencil in real, actually is not the same colour of the picture either. I am tan/olive in complexion, and the colour turns out to be a very very bright pink, almost fluorescent lol. The staying power of this pink is good but could be better. Its glossy on the lips, and soft. It can kiss off and be wiped off easily, however a base coat which is light in colour remains. I have since tried another colour because its so convenient, and shines, and does end up with a stain when most comes off...this colour turned out to be similar to my natural lip colour with a little highlight and gloss; when this one comes off, i cant even see any remains of a stain because of an almost exact match, but i do love it.

Great formula, flawed design
After finding a wallet-friendly balm stain that's actually moisturizing and stays pigmented throughout the day, I wasn't about to hit the makeup stores again to waste time and money finding another. I first picked this up a few years ago at a local drugstore after a friend recommended it. I think the formula does exactly what it promises to do, and I even used this product as a cheek stain for days I look particularly wane. It's got a lovely minty scent, but isn't overpowering and goes away quickly. I personally love the Rendezvous color because it's more of a coral, but there are a lot of other colors to choose from. I buy Rendezvous online now, since I haven't been able to find it locally in stores. That said, due to how frequently I carry and handle this balm stick, I end up dropping it or accidentally crushing it in my bag. I've owned several of these, and almost every lid has had a hairline fracture run up the side of the cap, which loosens it significantly. I end up taping them as a quick fix, but if the cap were made of something less brittle, that would save a lot of trouble.

Best lip Stain I've ever used.
I've tried a LOT of lip stains that do NOT stain my lips. This brand, only the color "Sweetheart", works great. It really last for hours. I wish the other colors worked as good, but they don't. I've tried nearly all of them. I wonder why it's so difficult to make a good lip stain?

Lasting color and moiturizing
This Revlon Balm Stain can be so hard to find in stores now, so I'm glad it's online, because it is my favorite. This is my second favorite daily color, a fairly bright orange that still not as bright as a red. The color lasts and lasts, usually if I apply in morning and refresh in the evening after dinner, that is enough. I have very dry lips, and this is incredibly moisturizing. Excellent product.

I love it
The reason for the one star rating so that nobody else will buy it! I want it all for myself and that’s no lie. I think L’Oreal discontinued it years ago and Amazon is the only source left. I don’t know what I’ll do when it runs out… Being a normal human woman I can’t resist buying products and so I have tried to buy different lip colors and stains through the years and they all wind up being returned or falling to the bottom of my make up bag. This is the best And please don’t buy it, lol. PS, Trying to think of how long I’ve been using it and the only certain number that I can come up with is a minimum of 15 years, may have been more.
