Great germination, highly recommend
I grew these in the spring in zone 4, 2 per hole and most, if not all, germinated. I have a small stick trellis about 3 feet tall and that helps them have something to climb. Not too fancy. These taste good. They never made it in the house, we just ate them off the plant. I didn't pre soak them before planting either. I've planted another bunch of them for fall succession and they all germinated again. I'm out of seeds and will buy more.

Two Part Review
I live in Arizona and the weather gets cold as Christmas approaches and starts warming up in late January. I read you can grow peas if you plant them in October, cover them from frosts and start harvesting in February. The first part of my review is on the status after 90-110 days of planting as end of January approaches. Overall it has been a fun experience. I got about a 50% germination rate and planted 3 packs of seeds over 6 weeks, so the last planting was in November. At the end of January I have about 75 plants, some of which are very large. The large ones have flowers or early pods and I'm looking forward to a harvest in the next few weeks. My 2 comments regarding the product description: 1) in my situation it will take about 120 days from planting to harvest and 2) I definitely had to stake my peas. All in all, I am very pleased with this product so far. Part 2: it now is mid-March and we have harvested peas 3 times. They are very tasty but not that plentiful. I followed all the pea planting advice I could find so it just may be my little plot of dirt in Arizona is not the best place to plant peas. Having said that, I really enoyed the experience. I think next time I would do a snow pea variation but these seeds worked well for my purpose.

No date or seed depth info on package.
I am very disappointed in the seed package NO date listed nor does it have a planting guide. The price was steep for the amount of seeds. You can buy organic certified seeds with a LOT/DATE printed so no guessing how old.

More like 15 seeds, they do sprout well
50 is a bold lie and for that 2 stars. The seeds did sprout however, we will see.
