Desmond2 Pack DP-70 70mm QR Lens Plate Arca/RRS Compatible Dual Dovetail & D-Ring P70 DP70

I've ordered these a couple times and the quality is consistent. I use Canon DSLR equipment and these work great with all the DSLR models I have an have used. On the bottom of the plate, there is a little thing with a small handle that flips up and can be used to tighten the plate to the bottom of the camera. With this little handle thing there is no need to to make sure you have a coin to tighten the plate.Overall, this is a solid plate. It is sturdy and well built, the price is reasonable, the first ones I bought years ago are still working and you don't need to carry around a quarter or other coin to make sure that you can tighten it down.

I bought this as replacement for Oben QR-10 as it's cheaper. Instead of paying $20 for one, I get two for just $15. It turns out this is better than the original one. Very solid and easy to screw in&out. The original one requires an allen wrench.

Awesome deal for the price. They fit my Vanguard BBH-200 clamp, and a generic clamp. Make sure to measure your clamp at wide open, then select the appropriate width plate. Also love the D-ring so I don't have to carry a coin or an Allen wrench.

There was nothing at all wrong with this product but I had to send it back because I didn’t realize how short they are. Completely my bad has nothing to do with the product. If I needed short Arca Swiss plates he seems like they could do the job nicely

After a lot of searching, I found these to be compatible with the Kessler quick release system. Arca Swiss is not exactly a true standard and often different manufacturers have different tolerances on the Arca Swiss "standard". As a result, I find a lot of the Chinese clone made Arca Swiss (nothing wrong with them! They're affordable and work great) will not work with Kessler (and probably not RRS either).It took a while but I had to examine a lot of photos of different Arca Swiss plates being sold on Amazon to find ones that I think could work and I took the chance. And I got it right. Phew!In addition to the 38mm mount width I needed, I needed the bottom of the side < notch to be a few millimeters higher than the bottom of the plate. See the top DP-70 plate in the photo.My own NOT compatible cplate is the bottom plate in the photo. You will see the side notch is angled differently. The bottom of the notch is sharply angled to the bottom of the mount with no extra millimeter in height.Both plates are Arca-Swiss but only one (the DP-70.. the top plate in the picture) is compatible with my Kessler release system. This angled notch made the difference between whether the plate fit or not.In the end I am happy I have found this release plate with the style that works with my Kessler system.Of course if you have the screw-knob Arca-Swiss clamp release systems, I'm sure this plate will work just fine. The clamp release systems work with a lot of Arca-Swiss compatible plates in general.
