EXTRA LONG 10 Ft. Audio-Video Video AV 3-Ring 4 Conductor Pole 3.5mm Male to Male Plugs Cable

This is a 4-element 3.5mm cable, male to male. For those unfamiliar, a typical 3.5 "headphone jack" connector usually has two metal elements, separated by a plastic ring. each metal section connects a different signal. In the headphone style, the two sections provide stereo sound (1 for right, 1 for left). In a 3-section connector, it is often stereo sound and microphone. In this one, there are 4 sections, split by 3 rings. I am not sure why they need 4, but this is what my video player required.If your car/portable DVD uses a cable like this between two screens, then this cable is the cheapest and easiest one to get (much cheaper than the $30 a big-box retailer wanted).

These cables do everything I need them to do. There is some low frequency hiss because they aren't shielded (as noted in other reviews), however that doesn't stop them from performing great.They arrived quickly in a day or two in great shape.I give them four stars because I knew what I was ordering and am very happy with my purchase.

The cord for our Phillips Dual Car DVD system broke and this one works just as well. I like it a bit better, because it is longer than the original cord, so I can now place one DVD player in the back of my SUV and the other still in the middle.

I use this cable to connect a radio to my helmet that I use for paragliding. The cable gets moved around a lot during flight. It only lasted a month before a conductor inside the cable "broke" or otherwise made and "open circuit" from an electrical perspective. I used the exact same cable again and it did the same thing. OK cable if it is going to sit behind your stereo but not good if you are going to be using it for sports.

I chose this product because of the connectors. The length wasn't necessary but it was the only cable I could find. A little to long for my actual need but it works and I'll keep it.

I do not find anything wrong with this. I would give it one more star if I saw if it was durable. I ordered several, but wife lost them, one at a time. Will order more.

How can you say a product titled "Extra Long" is too long? Perhaps the title was changed but these are cables that were long enough for what I needed them for and have worked fine for me.
