A fantastic way to stash your most important items in your seatback!
I took a leap buying the AirPocket because there weren’t many reviews and the product seemed expensive. Fortunately it does a great job. I love that I can pull a single item out of my backpack at the start of a flight and have everything I need at my fingertips without fear of leaving something behind.I keep my Kindle Oasis, a large travel battery pack, various charging cables, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, and a tactical pen in my AirPocket. This makes it a bit heavy - mostly due to the battery. But the AirPocket handles it all well. I still have room to put my 10.5” iPad Pro inside when needed. On a 737 the AirPocket fits in the seatback pocket. I thought it would be too thick, but it fit perfectly. On smaller regional jets it can fit sideways, although it is a bit floppy unless you have an iPad or other larger device inside.Aside from the size the AirPocket has material thick enough to protect your items from a little banging around. I wouldn’t try anything more strenuous though. This does lead me to one minor issue. The organizer inside isn’t connected inside to the bottom shell. This means some items can slip out of the organizer into the bottom of the AirPocket itself. I don’t see how they could reasonably solve this though and it is not significant. Just know you may have to fish inside for small items. The other consideration is you - yes you, dear reader! If you overstuff your AirPocket It will not work as well. For example, carrying noise cancelling headphones is listed in the product description. My Bose QC35 II will fit - but only if I remove some of my other items listed above. I simply wear my headphones around my neck instead, but pack rats may find themselves struggling to limit the stuff in their AirPocket because it is so convenient. If you travel regularly with more than a phone or book for entertainment this is a delightful way to easily transport all your stuff to the seatback for easy access!
