Not what I needed.
I am sure it is leak proof - but that's not what I wanted this for. I wanted a pretty trash receptacle that would hang off the head rest. It does that...but has a completely open top.... therefore every time I open the windows (which I do frequently) any paper / light weight trash takes flight in the breeze....and ends up all over the floor or flys right out the window.

I use this as a thread catcher next to my sewing machine
I use this as a thread catcher for when I am sewing, and it works great! I cut off the straps, glued two squares of Velcro to the back, put two velcro Command strips on the edge of my desk, and attached the bin to the desk. One star off because it is kind of tacky looking.

Super Cute
I really like this item. It’s compact, durable, and fits perfectly behind my headrest. It also comes with trash bags/liners. I highly recommend this product.

does the trick
This is a low-profile trash bag for the car, and does its job well. We "hang" it off the back of the center console, so it is out of the way, but easy to reach. The strap was shorter than I expected, but it reaches around the console lid without a problem. It came with a roll of liner bags, which are too big for the can, but I just tie up one side so they fit more snugly, and it's fine.

Good for the car trash
I like this trash can. It works well in the car and the bags it come with work well although they are a bit bigger than the actual trash can. I pictured it looking a little more leather like but it wasn't. I'm ok with it . But it wasnt what I pictured in my head.

Short straps! Only made to fit around your headrest.
I really wanted to like this product. It is a good small size and flat on the back to fit snugly against whatever it’s against. However, the adjustable straps are entirely too short. This can only fit around a head rest. I don’t want trash in my passengers face! I thought since the strap was adjustable it would be long enough to go around my center console and sit on the floor in the back. Nope! Very short straps, headrest only. And Amazon will charge me $6 to return it, so I’m pretty much out the $13.
