This book was one of the few books that I have picked up WILLINGLY and actually completed! I for the life of me could not put this book down. There was a twist at the turn of every page and at multiple time through out reading, I forgot I was even reading! I felt like I was there with him in person going through the stages of his life. I felt like I could relate with SOME of his emotions and situations being from Los Angeles and in the military. The way the system worked and his attitude toward everything astounded me. It seemed like a never ending struggle. Anyway! Get this book, read it, and prepare for the ride of your life!

I usually like to listen to audio books instead of reading, but this book had me wanting more and more each time I read it. When you look at the success Kali has had then read this book it really puts a different perspective on everything.He went through a lot to get to where he is now, and never gave up. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone feeling down or that doesn't have the drive to do whatever is they want to do in life.

Very gripping autobiography, I could relate and understand where he is coming from. To leave that life behind is difficult and mad props to Kali for staying and living positive. Kali didn't graduate an ivy league university as English major, so there are all kinds of grammar and spelling errors In this book. He arose out of the unforgiving streets of Oakland and the way the book is written is raw and real.

I've followed Kali since discovering him on Youtube several years ago. This book is a nice look at the man himself, his life and troubles as well as the Youtube persona everyone knowes. If you follow his channel it's a must buy but even for those who don't follow or are unfamiliar with the man it's a great tale of overcoming obstacles to achieve what you want to be in life. Guaranteed by the time you finish the book you'll be subbed on Youtube and Facebook and discover more about this man.

There is so much to say about this book, but unfortunately you'd have to read it yourself to understand. This man has came from nothing to something and has proven that you can change your life around. I can relate to him on many levels, not prison wise but being into the gym, sense of humor, and s*** talking. I would recommend this book to whomever, wether you're at a lost point in life or just want to know more about the character you see on YouTube. Thank you for the book Kali, you've changed my outlook on many things and gave me a sense of hope that I can too make it in life.

This is my first time reviewing anything on Amazon although I have purchased several items. First of all, I would like to say that I have been following Kali this past 2 years and he has brought me motivation to exercising and life. I stumbled onto Kali Muscle in a CT Fletcher video on YouTube. Fletcher is an old time weight lifter. Kali Muscle is a long time body builder with 23 inch biceps.This man's childhood and early adulthood was horrendous. He is lucky to be alive. He went from a teen working his ass off to escape the getto to an adult who was lucky to escape death in California prisons. He attributes his conversion to responsibility to his wife. Watch his videos on Youtube and decide for yourself. For me, I believe his true nature is to be a caring gentle man. He has formed a foundation for troubled children, appears as a motivational speaker and is quite open about his past.This book is inspiring despite it's obvious editing flaws. Hard to put the book down. Filled with many life lessons that are relatable and cause a person to think and take notice of what kind of ride they're creating through their own lives.
