Great game!
Kids love it! Great game for family time! Mechanics are simple enough that a 7 year old understands them well and can enjoy playing, complex enough to keep a 10 year old engaged. Well, at least that was my experience!

Great game for little kids
The perfect introduction to strategy game for kids around 3-5! My 6-7 year old is happy to play this game with her little brother- it’s still fun for her too. My 10 year old will play to appease her brother but she’d rather play something else. The pieces are good quality. The size of the pieces are appropriate for little hands. The design of the game is straight forward, interesting, and fun for little kids.

Excellent family game and intro into strategy gaming
Where has this game been all my life??? This is the perfect family game. Cooperative with ways to make it more difficult. When you master this one go to the actual Castle Panic game. I have a 4 and 7 year old and they both love it.The quality of the game is good. I 3D printed versions of the wall and castle.... Because why not.

Goblins in the details
Fun little game, appropriate for younger children than my 7 year old, who still enjoys a round or two of it anyway. Two criticisms: the cutouts for the wall and castle don't fit quite right, so when put together they don't squarely sit on the game surface. Also, the instructions are written in such a way that the purpose of three of the goblin cards having stars on them was missed, and we played the game wrong at first. Maybe make that more clear?Overall quality and imaginative game idea means I'll look forward to future purchases from this company.

Easy enough for (maybe) a 3 year old
My 4 year old's first real game, and she loved it. Especially because it had a castle 😂So easy to learn, and she loves it so much that she plays it alone when she's board. Would recommend because it's fun for the adults too. I could even see myself teaching this to a 3 year old depending on their development. It'll be a great gateway into teaching her the adult version, which honestly isn't much harder than this game.

Best family game so far!
This is the best game I've played with my 4, 6, and 7 year old ever! Its premise is fun (who doesn't love castles, heroes, and monsters!?), and I was surprised they caught onto the 4 part turns so quickly (draw a card, play a card, move the monsters, and add a monster) and the cooperative strategy. They can actually play it amongst themselves without squabbling or getting off track (a first at our house). We have added the extra challenges and will now be ordering the original Castle Panic to try because they're so good at it. So happy to be out of our boring preK games phase!

This is a great game for young kids!
Most kids games are just painful. This one is not. It offers very basic strategy skills and the game is suuuper simple to learn and play right away. Some have mentioned how it's not fun because you always lose. While I've found the losing part to be true as well, the box addresses how to alter rules to make it easier. You absolutely have to do that because as-is, you almost always lose. We go even further and have altered it even more son and now normally win. It's great for teaching kids how to wait to make moves to help with defeating monsters later on but it's quick enough where that's not too painful. We all love throwing the monsters in the dungeon and my kids super excited when his patience pays off and he can later use a card he held onto to defeat a monster.
