Sturdy and easy to install
Nothing fancy about these grip strips, but they are sturdy enough that they won't fall apart in bad weather and they definitely prevent slipping on wet stairs. I live in the Blue Ridge mountains and we get tons of rain as well as snow and ice. Add slimy fallen leaves and it's a recipe for disaster on wooden stairs and decking. These grip strips work really well in the rain - it remains to be seen how well they perform in snow, but I suspect they'll do just fine. Easy to screw in place and the neutral color keeps them from being an eyesore. Definitely worth the price!

Great Customer Service. Good looking product.
The product appears superior. Thick, pliable and just as described with spiky things to tread upon and not slip. I will install when the wind settles down today or tomorrow.I had ordered several sets and when the package was damaged enroute, one set of the product was lost. Customer Service quickly responded to my inquiry and replaced the item immediately.I recommend this product and the company.

Easy and Grippy Stair Strip
These are absolutely simple to install - a phillips head screwdriver and some time to attach. An awl-type instrument (like a 'D' nail) helps to make the installation of the screws go easier. Remember that the screws go to the 'outside edge' of the screw slot and that you tighten them down snug and back off a quarter turn.

Excellent product, well-made and effective
These strips are an effective way to make stairs safer. I've used adhesive strips for years and they always come up at some point but never neatly, so there's always a lot of work to remove them from paint. Inevitably, there's paint touch-up needed after replacing adhesive strips. These GripStrips go down easily with the supplied screws, and if your stair treads are flat, these things work well. They won't work for bare feet, though, so be warned. But for applications where shoes will be worn, walking on these strips is quite solid – you are not going to slip. The screws are low-profile, so there's no danger of catching on them. Well-worth the price.

Use adhesive in addition to screws
These work pretty well. However, they are made of plastic and held together with only two screws. If one screw/side breaks then it will cause you to slip suddenly. It is advisable to use a strong adhesive in addition to the screws.

These have a lot of tread!
Buying something like this online is hard. You never really know how good the tread will be on it when it shows up at your door… the thread is absolutely superb! And if you are worried about your dogs not using them, I have 6 dogs (various ages) and none of them have shown any concern still installed. The one thing I’d add is a screw hole in the middle of the treads. They want to ever do slightly bow in the middle. I haven’t noticed any problems with that yet though. I’ve had them installed almost two months now.Something else I liked about them is I needed to trim a little off the sides of some so they fit in a particular place, and I was able to do easily. I just set a tread on something I could hit with a utility knife and not damage, set a speed square in the tread and held it down and scored the tread 3-4 times, then took a pair of pliers and bent the piece back at the score and it came loose. I did not break even one doing that! Out of 24 (3 boxes) I altered half of them and not one broke or cracked - even doing it in the cold garage!!These have allowed me to add some important traction for a puppy I have with severe hip dysplasia, with possible spinal issues also, that is having trouble walking up a ramp, while also giving traction on steps to a dog “condo” my son and I built so when the dogs come flying out 100 mph their legs don’t go off the back of the steps, getting a leg stuck, and injure themselves. I use them also to access the dog condo and there is no slipping on these!! Very impressed with these!

I had to replace them, they hurt your feet & paws to walk on them.
Easy to install on my deck steps, though I had to use 2 on each step to cover the space better, & a good color for deck steps too. I was however disappointed in the end as my senior dog, who has been slipping & falling on the steps, won't walk on them as they seem too sharp & pointy & seem to hurt her paw pads. They hurt my feet when I'm bare footed or in stocking feet. I had to replace them.

You might want to consider a bigger size and more flexible brand!
I was looking for something that would be more "rubbery" for the lack of a better word! I purchased this item thinking that it's flexible to strech over the uneven survace of our deck. It is simply NOT. Instead, it's pretty "plastiky" and rigid. Yes, it was installed in a matter of minutes but I still believe that it should be made from different polymers that straight plastic. The grooves and patterns on the plastic strips are not bad at all but the material can and will break with the first snow shovel hit next winter if I'm not paying attention!Tried to return it once I opened the small packing and I also got approved for the return but unfortunately, I would have to ship it back at my cost (plus I already paid for the shipping to me.)

Good grip for snow season. Good size for narrow steos
Had longer ones installed previously. This is perfect size for narrow steps. Easy install. Better grip, antiskid and much more durable than tape version, especially during snow winter season.

Easy to install
Easy to install only issue is the screws provided are to short. I just put longer ones.

Not bad but…
These are not bad but they are definitely not meant for the harsh Canadian winters and climate. They are also not durable enough to withstand shovelling snow.
