We live in the country. It is a 20 minute drive one way to the nearest grocery store. I like to keep these powdered milks on hand. They taste just like regular milk. I can not taste a difference. We use this milk for cereal all the time. I have used it for cooking mixing it with hot pasta for Mac and Cheese. It has no problems dissolving in both hot and cold. It is never gritty. You get a lot of milk for the price. It is easy to make. Just add water. The expiration date was well beyond what it will take for us to use all the product. Overall a great option for people who don’t use enough milk to justify having a gallon in the fridge. We will likely put this on a subscription for our family. It is a great product for a great price.

Carnation instant skim milk has a better taste than other brands. It dissolves easily. I made a quart for the weekend when I run out of Skim Milk during the week. At first I wasn't sure of the taste, but I gave it a tried and pour some into a bowl of cereal. I like it.

bought ths for seomthing else, but ahd some powder left over and mxed it wth cold store bought water and t was eally pretty good. t workds well for cookng and in theses perlous tmes, I froze some cans of t for the future.

This is my favorite powdered milk. I even like this one as a creamer alternative.

Mixes easily. Convenient to use in coffee instead of creamers. Have purchased several time but the price steadily increases.

I think this tastes better than store-bought cold milk--more milk flavor. Cold store-bought milk can be hit or miss in freshness depending on how cold it has been stored/shelved in the supply chain. With this Carnation milk, I know I always have fresh milk on hand in my one-person household. It is easy to mix. I shake it in a covered tall container to mix it, using 1/2 cup powder to 2 cups filtered water. I bought mine in September 2024, and the six cans of this I was sent has an expiration date of September 2025. So no expiration date issues for me. My local big-box store sells 1 can of this for $4.58, and I paid $23.36 for six cans from Amazon, so this is 68 cents cheaper per unit on Amazon. It was delivered in 3 days. Also, in comparing nutrition on the labels of other powdered milk brands to the Carnation brand, the Carnation brand has more nutrients. What is not to love?
