🌲 The Moment Camping Felt Like a Luxury Retreat 🌲
I used to dread that first sip at camp—cold, earthy, “Is this even safe?”—until I clipped on the Camco Tastepure RV Water Filter. Right away, the water hit different. Crisp. Clean. Fresh. It was like upgrading from a dingy plastic jug to bottled clarity with no fuss.On our last trip, the hose protector rolled on effortlessly. I connected it between the spigot and hose, and instantly noticed the subtle buzz of quality. Each morning, I’d pour coffee, take a sip—and bam—it tasted like home. No weird odors, no strange aftertaste, just pure refreshment in the woods. The pack of two was a bonus—I kept one permanently attached and tucked the spare in the RV toolbox. When friends pulled up to camp with questionable water, I handed them a sip and watched disbelief turn into relief. Every caravan deserves this.No more water anxieties, no more filter blends that fall flat—just steady, genuine taste on demand. If you want to turn your RV or campsite into a destination, this filter is your unsung hero. 💧✨

Awesome filter! Nasty campground water no longer...
I have run these for years in my RV and they work killer! Here's some more in-depth thoughts:Pros:- These work better than I had expected. Just hook them up to the water source, hook your hose to it, run it to your trailer and viola` clean and good tasting water. Some of the places we have visited have had water that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemy. With this thing attached, it's very good tasting.- I like the hose attachment that comes with this to aide in adding flexibility to the system and not put too much strain on the system. I have bought so many of these, I now use one attaching the filter to the nozzle, one out of the filter to my hose, and one attaching my hose to the trailer.Notes:- I will note that the manufacturer suggesting using these for only 1 camping season, and this makes sense. That's what I do, and it seems to work out great. It's not too much $ to replace every season.- Another note, when first putting this filter into service (just the first time of the season, subsequent hook-ups wont do this) there will be a bunch of carbon (black in the water) that comes out of the faucet in your trailer. This is perfectly fine, safe, and of no issue. This is the filter breaking in and getting the extra carbon out of the system. There is no health concern with this happening. I just run the faucet until it clears up, and then we're good to go for the rest of the season.- Last note, when we unhook from our camping spot, I swing the filter in my hand with my arm extended (using centrifugal force, not centrifical, look it up) to get the residual water out of the filter so it doesn't sit in there and spoil. I do this until I get most of the water drops to stop, leave it out on the counter to dry, and boom, it's perfect the next time.Cons:- None to reportOverall this filter does a great job taking care of some seriously nasty campground water that we've encountered all over the Southwest US. I cannot recommend it any higher.I hope I have helped your purchasing decision of this product. For campers and washing cars!
We use this all the time when filling our camper water and it works great! Keeps the water smelling and tasting a bit better from the hose and seems to last a season.Works great if you are also washing cars to help filter the water a bit!

Works great at a good price point
Using for my travel trailer on well water at summer camp. The well has a lot of iron. The water color cleared up fairly quickly! Not sure how long it will last due to the hardness of my water. I bought 4 more after the first so I do recommend.4 stars because I don't know how long it will last.

Best money I ever spent!!
I moved into a house with a FILTHY 30,000 gal. inground pool several years ago. I had to empty the pool, repair it, and refill the entire 30,000 gallons. I was told to use city water, NOT my well water, because of the minerals in it, so I did -$350 later, all was well. The next Spring I had to add more water! I thought there HAD to be a way to use my well water. It FINALLY dawned on me that maybe I could find a water filter big enough to do the job. I decided to try this RV filter. It worked(s) perfectly!! No iron or copper in my pool at all, I just had to add pool hardener, much cheaper than city water. Best money I have spent in years. I do and will replace the filter every Spring to assure it's fresh and does it's job.
