Excellent Bookshelf Speakers
Ordered through Amazon Marketplace dealer, Peter Tyson Online, a recognised hi-fi dealer of many years standing. Bargain priced with free next day delivery. DPD as courier, so could use their app to get an exact one hour delivery time slot. As far as the speakers go, what’s not to like. Matched with a Denon mini hi-fi unit, they fit perfectly on a bookshelf without looking too large, and even without being properly run in, requiring upwards of 30 hours use, they sound warm and engaging whether playing CDs, or vinyl using a pre amp through an aux socket. At the budget level of speakers, these neat bookshelf ones take some beating.

Incredible value
There is an amazing amount of bass from such small speakers. I've waited a few weeks to let them run in before writing this. The reason I bought them is I have a Brennan B3+ that stores and plays my music these days, everything is on it's hard disk, no fuss no bother, I'm getting too old to mess about. It has a decent amplifier and DAC on board. Unfortunately it is not powerful enough to drive my Q Acoustics Connect 40 floor standing speakers. Too much clipping...Now some may call it a blessing, me, well it's more of a curse. Because I have excellent musical hearing. I can hear stuff others cannot. My wife for instance hears just the wall of music, she cannot pick out the individual instruments laid out before her in a 3D landscape. To me there is a world of difference between, let's say Phil Collins hitting a snare drum in it's centre, as opposed to the tap-and-slide of the drumstick near it's edge. Snake-oil I'll bet some of you are saying, and believe me I wish it was. Because for the last 50 years I've been chasing my tail trying to get the best Amplifier/Receiver/DAC and speakers combinations so I can hear it ALL...I've spent a small fortune on equipment, some of it I still have, unused, I cannot bring myself to throw it away. Now to these little Denon speakers. First of all, discard the rubbish bell wire cables they provide. I always make up my own cables with good quality, multi strand OFC speaker wire. Photo shows how theses were made up. Soldered ends because the binding posts on the rear of the speakers are just spring loaded affairs that are cheap and nasty. But with a little tweaking can become useable. I have them mounted on the wall above and behind the Q Acoustics stand mounts. Clamped tightly so there is zero movement or resonance from them. No word of a lie they are as good as the Q's below them, at a fraction of the price. The clarity of the vocals is superb, you can hear the slightest intonation from say, Sam Ryder's voice as he blasts out "Tiny riot", or the fingers sliding up and down the fret board as James Blunt strums on his guitar. That! Bass Riff from Fleetwood Mac's "The Chain". Pick out individual instruments from so many recordings from various artists. I was listening to Ed Sheeran yesterday from the album divide÷ "Shape of you" he is there in my room, sitting in front of the speakers, bang in the middle, the bass drum is at the back along with the keyboard. The backing singers are to the left and right outside the speakers, the soundstage is enormously wide with great depth. All this from such small speakers, it seems impossible but there it is. Would I buy them again? Absolutely, without hesitation.Oh, and back to the snake-oil, there is one small caveat to this. I use Tacoma 6 way mains conditioner plug boards. I bought another one for this little set-up. So I now have 3 of them, for 3 different set-ups. 1 for the 7.4.1 Dolby Atmos cinema setup, 1 in my bedroom for another stereo setup using another B3 with Elac Debut Reference speakers, and this one. For two good reasons, firstly because they protect my valuable equipment, secondly they condition the mains power. What happens is when these are used it's like lifting a heavy curtain from in front of your speakers. Simple as that. Like I said, my hearing is more of a curse, coz that's another £40+ I've just had to spend.

Quality well made speakers with excellent sound
Purchased for use with an older Denon RDCM38 receiver. Smart looking and excellent quality. No blue tooth so a little bit dated. I didn't use the supplied cables as they looked a little fragile compared to the ones I was using with some big old speakers.Full, pleasing sound from such compact units.

Very Speakery
As speakers go they work as speakers very well. If you wish speakers then these speakers speak very well indeed. I'd go as far to say that if you require speakers then these speakers will speak to you and ensure that your speaker needs are met.

Cute but mighty.
Used some better cable as the one supplied and connected to my hifi , which ok isn't a top of the range but its decent separates.Switched on and WOW.Such amazing sound, and I was worried that they'd be too small to sound decent but I was wrong.Fills my large living room with perfect sound even at 50% volume.

Nice speaker for the price
Small neat speaker. Sound is good for such a price. I found the bass can be a little spongy , but that's just my personal taste. Overall a very good little speaker for the money.
