KEENWomen's Rose Casual Closed Toe Sandals

Bought these last minute for a weeklong trip to a rustic island in Mexico. I put them on the day before we left and they felt great so I figured here goes nothing. I needed a shoe that would handle a lot of situations. A day of travel by car, plane, bus, boat, feet. A lot of feet. With a 38 lb. pack. We landed in the wrong terminal to meet the bus and it might as well have been a different airport. Had to jog about a mile to meet our bus. Not once did I think about my feet. No shifting as I jumped curbs, medians, etc. They handled the pavement so well. I have high arches and they were well supported. Once on our spit of sand, more walking. Walking in Mexico feels like an obstacle course and now we have sand to contend with. The shoes did great shedding it out. Ditched the bags at the hotel and right off to the beach. Wore them right in the ocean. Then around town. In short, I wore those shoes 18 hours day 1. Day 2 we walked and hiked about 10 miles, in water, in sand, in everything. They felt fine wearing wet. They were still a little damp in the morning but it was not uncomfortable.The only downside was I have really bad foot swelling when I fly. It doesn't show up though till day 3. Because of the boxed in/nonadjustable toe box, I couldn't wear these shoes again until the day before we left. I just went barefoot for a few.Overall, I am seriously impressed with these. I have the Newports and they have always served me well. These are signifcantly lighter and more stylish but for that, I don't think they are quite as rugged and I certainly wouldn't consider this an actual hiking shoe though any trail you could do with sneakers, you could do with these.They get major style points as they truly do look great with anything. It was nice to not have to bring a "pretty" but nonfunctional shoe to go out at night. These legitimately look good with skirts and dresses. Or jeans. Or a bikini. Anything.The fit was true to size for me. I'm a solid 6 and it was dead on. Any bigger they would have been floppy and weird at the toes. I have thin ankles so the straps were not an issue. Based off how small my ankles are, I was surprised that I didn't have extra strap. If you have thicker ankles, this could be a problem. I would also think overly narrow feet might not do well. The shoe doesn't really have a lot of give, so if it doesn't fit you exactly, I don't think it will be comfortable. That being said, it's worth a shot to try on. If it works for you, it will really work.I couldn't be happier with this purchase and see this being my everyday shoe this summer and hopefully many more summers and trips to come.

Second pair, good price. Love how they look a little fancy but comfortable enough to wear hiking. Keens fit and wear well. True to size Great for travel.

Nice cross between very functional and dressy enough for most occasions. My favorite feature is the great cushion under the forefoot (have spurs under 'toe knuckles'). The ankle strap is too tight/short so causes pressure on top of my foot.

I walked all over Spain in these for two weeks. Worked out great on cobblestone streets. Some places require close toed shoes. These worked great.

Can't believe how much I'm enjoying these shoes -- I needed a comfortable sandal that both looked nice and stayed on as I do all of my activities and run after my youngest child. Bingo, wish granted. My feet are a slightly small size 8 (38 or 39 depending on the type of shoe) with a wider toe area and smaller heel and the 8 in this fits me perfectly as it's adjustable. I can even run across a field with these. They keep my feet cool was well.

Beautiful color and style and purchased it as a “dressier” sport sandal for an upcoming holiday where I expected to get the shoe wet, go hiking bit also wear with skirts. Great quality. But 1 foot is wider than the other and these straps were very tight with very little give on the 4 foot of the wide foot. Also, the ankle is not totally adjustable. The ankle opening is fixed and hard to get my feet through. I’m usually a 7.5 and ordered a size 8. I have a wide foot but a small ankle. So the ankle opening was fine for my ankle, but not for my foot! Would be difficult to get on and off multiple times during the day without sitting down and taking care to put my foot through.

These are my second pair that travel well—in and out of water, sand and streets. They look good with skirts or capris, wash and dry in the sun fairly quickly.

I was looking for a supportive pair of sandals to take on our next trip. I went on a big trip across Europe and did a lot of walking last year and by the end of the fourth day (and many, many miles of walking) my feet were killing me. Particularly my heel. This time around I did a lot of research and these sandals were one of two that consistently came highly recommended. My husband also had a pair of keens and he found them very comfortable.When these arrived I put them on straight away and wore them around the house for several days. I have to say, they were comfortable straight out of the box. After wearing them for hours on end day after day, I can say they are still comfortable and provide great arch support. My heel doesn't hurt at all either. The straps look great and don't dig in like other brands tend to do.We'll see how they perform on our upcoming three-week trip. So far, I can recommend these!PS: Only gave it a four star since I haven't taken them on the trip yet. But I have full faith that they'll be a 5-star.Update! I have now upgraded my review to 5 stars. We've just returned from a trip overseas and I put these keens to the test. I wore them every day, on scooters, walking beaches, in the water, jumping on wooden boats, running from monkey's dodging busy traffic on busy asian streets, hiking up and down trails, riverbeds, on planes, through TSA checks, you name it we did it. Not once did I get a cramp in my feet. They fit great right out of the box, when I got them wet, they tried super fast and they never got that dingy wet smell to them. I'm so pleased with them I can understand why others are now too.

Como de costumbre, Keen me ha proporcionado un calzado de calidad, sumamente cómodo y además también con un bonito diseño que puedo usar con vestidos y faldas. Elijo esta marca porque en mi experiencia, aunque son costosos, son muy duraderos (estoy hablando de años) coservando una buena apariencia, son resistentes al agua es decir que los puedo meter al mar y caminar por las playas y además tienen los protectores para los dedos de los pies. ¿Qué más podría pedir? Me encantan.

Fantastic sandals. True to size, very comfortable look great with jeans or dress. I wear all day for work

The sandals made my feet odorous. Have tried with different socks but the result is the same! Sorry, I’ve to return the item. It’s very embarrassing to have them on.
