Skywalker 2’ TV Antenna Mast Pole Dish Tripod/Roof Mount

The stand is ok, however be aware the extension tube is sub par. In fact I urge anyone who buys this stand to toss that and not use it or take it to a shop and get it welded all the way around. It posses a danger as it can easily fail as it did on me. See the photos. We got lucky as no one was hurt when it came down and luckily it missed the power wires coming into our home. The $300 antenna and associated equipment was damaged however.Note it was only installed for 6 months before this failure occurred and it was blowing 30 with gusts to 40 at the time of failure. Not that unusual for our location.

Great tripod mast mount. Only thing I would add is the ability to change the length of one or two legs so it (the tripod) can be mounted on a sloped roof rather than on the peak.

I'm an amateur radio operator and wanted a small but sturdy tripod to hold up a vertical antenna. I wanted something that I could carry easily and wouldn't be super cumbersome but would still hold up my antenna.This little tripod will hold up my 16 ft aluminum pole without any staking down most of the time if the wind is calm. However, as the wind speeds approach 15-20 mph, it needs to be staked down. I use 3 tent nails (1/4" diameter) and have never had it blow over. This tripod actually supported my 16 ft antenna through a severe thunderstorm and didn't blow over! The storm had winds over 50 mph, driving rain and some pretty good sized hail.Great find!

I have a fan in which the plastic base broke but the fan and it's post we're in excellent condition. Why a company would put a metal post on a plastic base is beyond me but this product served my purpose perfectly. I was very pleased to see that this product was well made and very durable. If ever I need another one I will not hesitate to buy this same product.
