Perfect in every way
This Buffalo box is just so beautiful. I love how the artisan has made the buffalo by using different types and colors of wood to create the image of a buffalo. Just Beautiful.Plus bonus points for the Item arriving on time, undamaged and as described. It's nice when sellers do what they say and they send you the item as it is described on their amazon page. With so many Amazon 3rd party vendors playing so loose with the rules and with so much "fudging of the facts" by 3rd party Vendors it is refreshing to have things go so smoothly. Its nice to get what I ordered, as described and on time :)

Beautiful Craftsmanship!
This item is stunning! It has such high quality craftsmanship. The different types of wood are so well placed that they are seamless. This was a gift for my husband. He loved it, and was so impressed with the workmanship. He appreciated the note and details from the artist that were included. It is a nice size piece; not too big, not too small. Perfect as a valet for the nightstand. It really is a unique work of art. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes artisan wood items. We couldn't be more pleased with this beautiful item.

Perfect for mementos and gift-giving
I've been looking for the perfect box to keep a few special items in memory of my father, and I have finally found it! The craftsmanship and quality in this art box are beautiful. MarqART has created a real treasure box that will safely house my own special treasures. The box in lined with black velvet to keep everything cushioned and protected. The box has a soft tan fabric on the bottom to keep it free from scratches and protect your furniture as well. The hinges are strong and this is probably the best made box I have purchased - definitely worth the price. I'm confident any MarqART box would make a lovely gift, but I will be keeping mine. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and look forward to seeing my daddy's special treasures kept safe in such a lovely display.

Absolutely STUNNING!! Excellent workmanship, terrific designs, great colors and very sturdy. GREAT quality! This is the 3rd box I have bought from this artist and each is beautiful and unique. Bought the first one as a Christmas gift for my sister-in-law a few years ago. She still has it prominently displayed in her living room. Plus my brother bought another one last year which is also displayed. These boxes are versatile and can be used for almost anything from jewelry to other collectibles. My next one will be a multi-tier jewelry box - as soon as I decide which one (:>)

Amazed
I work with exotic woods to make jewelry and trinket boxes. MY personal cost is any where from $75 to $200 per item. I am amazed that they can sell these at such a low price. The inset hinges are remarkable. There are times that brass hinges cost me $30 a pair. Just for the hinges! I can easily see the craftsmanship and the techniques used to make these boxes. But for the life of me I can't figure out how they produce the image on the lid. I've done considerable in-lay work and no matter how fine I sand you can always feel a little of the wood grain. These lids are smooth as glass. Totally amazing. I am both impressed and completely satisfied with this purchase. Obviously I RARELY would purchase a wood box since the majority of what I've seen doesn't measure up to what I feel I can produce. This is a total exception. I can see how these boxes could end up a family heirloom. Very, very pleased. Thank you for this work of art.
