I have had a few Komal’s Passion Leather bags in my Want List for over a year and decided to finally pull the trigger on this one. I was very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this bag. It is roomy enough for my 15.6" Chromebook and it's leather sleeve, a couple of large books, a large leather bound notepad, my 10.1" tablet in it's leather case, and still has room left over for a few small or thin items. The two pockets in front are the perfect size for a mouse and power cords, even my vertical mouse fits in them. The side pockets are perfect for writing instruments, a cell phone or any other small item.I rated everything with 5 Stars because I really can't find any flaws in this bag. I am very particular about what I own and never go with something that is just "good enough", so when I say this is a great item you can take that to the bank.However, all that being said, there are two things that I don't like - one minor and one a little more not great.The minor one is I would have liked to seen the same concealed push button lock on the two front pockets instead of just the main strap. Having push button locks on the side pockets would have been great too. Not a deal breaker to me but a little bit of an inconvenience if you are getting in and out of those pockets a lot.The not-so-great issue is the shoulder strap. I notched it at the last hole to make it as short as possible (I'm 5'10") but the bottom of the bag still hangs to my knee making it almost look like a purse. The top of the bag is still above my waist though. I wish that KPL had anticipated buyers being under 6' tall and put in a few more holes. I have to say, I nearly made the decision to return the bag based solely off that. This is why I call it the (nearly) perfect bag. Fortunately I have a leather punch and can make a couple of holes to make the strap fit me better but I hate "damaging" something to do that. I still had to rate it 5 Stars because there's no feature that is specific to the strap and everything else is made so dang good that I couldn't mark anything lower. It would have been best if the strap was a single piece - it is two lengths you buckle together - or if it had a way to cinch it up.Bottom line - if you are looking for a high quality, very sharp looking laptop or messenger bag (I use this for gaming) then you don't have to look any further than Komal's Passion Leather.

This bag has been a major aspect of my daily ensemble for the last 4 years. I wanted to wait several years before reviewing it as leather is a product that builds character over time. So this will hopefully help someone who is buying their first messenger/laptop leather bag. I was not sure about it because I had not done much research on leather but when I got this bag I also got my Redwings Boots so the pairing has been helpful as I know and understand now with experience what it takes to take care of leather goods. This bag has gone across the country with me into many different environments and climates. The entire time, doing exactly what I wanted it to do. The strap-my one concern when I got it, has held up extremely well and all of the straps and zippers are of great quality. I get a LOT of compliments on my bag whenever I go out with it-one of the most memorable was some girl telling me my bag was “a whole mood” lol. But aside from that, when you first get the bag, understand that it is GOAT LEATHER—so there will be a smell for some time. It disappears and honestly, I would say that arguably, this goat leather really has shown more character than the cow leather we would mostly see. Also as the years have gone by, it has become so soft and it is like an extension of me.I am an artist so I carry all my sketchbooks and tools in the bag, but when I go to the day job I carry things related to that. It looks great on the seat of my jeep and is a very handy addition to my things I carry daily. I wouldn’t be without it and if something happens to it I would DEFINITELY order it again. Side note: I actually ordered the LARGER luggage bag as well but that doesn’t see the same amount of use obviously. The natural oils of our hands REALLY REALLY bring this bag to life after about 2 years of use. I can’t say much more than that—just buy it and see for yourself. This is a great quality bag and I love even just seeing it on the chair at home. I really love this bag and they have done a brilliant job providing it to us! I was quite impressed when I opened the package. The satchel was enclosed in a cloth bag and the brass was wrapped in shrink wrap for protection. The quality of the leather is amazing! Roomy, sturdy, well made, not to mention affordable. A great purchase. I put everything I needed in the thing and had room to spare. This thing will only get better with age. The color will change and the bag should look even nicer.

For the price, it is a great piece of leatherwork. I was honestly skeptical because it was so inexpensive. First impressions is that it smells kinda funny, not wrong just fresh tanning packaged and stored in plastic for a time. I'll buy some leather conditioner and oils should do the trick if just getting aired out doesn't. I don't think the hardware is actual brass but it doesn't feel like fragile plasteel either and all the buckles and clasps feel securely attached. It is double stitched everywhere and there were no noticeable hanging threads or loose knots anywhere. YKK zippers confirmed always a good sign of quality. Shoulder strap is very adjustable, I might replace the shoulder pad, nothing wrong with it I just want a lot more padding. Interior canvas lining is very thick and sturdy. I picked this bag especially for its numerous additional external and internal pockets, they do not disappoint. Final verdict. I would call the quality of the materials fair, not particularly fancy. But the construction of the product shows workmanship and pride in quality. And the price cannot be beat. Thank you.
