Summary: If you are looking for a high quality set that will last you many many years, this is a good choice. However, there are definitely cheaper sets that do the same job.Pros:+ Peugeot U'Select is a super great system. It grinds very well, and it is super easy to change coarseness. The grinding action doesn't require a lot of force (nice if you are doing a lot of grinding).+ It looks incredibly classic and nice on my counter top.+ Love that the tops have the logo in 2 different colors (black and white) to differentiate between the two.Cons- It's just so pricy; you could buy a new $10 set every year for the same price. You could buy a smaller set of Peugeot U'Select in a less popular color for significantly cheaper.- Sort of negative: The wood is natural and adds to the beauty. However, the salt and pepper mills are noticeably different colors. It does help me tell the difference between the two, but it probably not intended.

The French obviously stopped doing fine work. The finish stopped at the lathe or machine. They were rough and had not encountered sandpaper. I sanded the down and applied finish, this should have been done.
