PODRAVKA - Ajvar Hot & Ajvar Mild , 2 Jars Included

Very good
The type labeled 'HOT' is not. Maybe there is a hint of piquancy. I've had Hungarian Half Sweet Paprika and it was hot, hot. Took a chance on this from Croatia and glad I ordered. Delicious on anything. I guess what 'hot' means depends on the food culture of where it is from. If it was from Thailand and labeled 'hot' I wouldn't have touched it.

Good stuff
I can’t eat tomatoes. So, instead of tomato paste, sauce, etc. I substitute Ajvar. It finds its way in roasts, ground meats, sauces, dressings and soups. It’s become a savory staple.Povdravka is a less expensive brand, but tastes as good as any others I’ve tried. There’s not too much difference between hot and mild - I’m fine with both and I really like the discount you get with the 2 pak.

Good price for 2 jars
Spicy hot or mild, I like either one. Mostly I enjoy it on toast but ajvar also works as a chip dip. I eat this stuff too fast--both jars will be gone in 2 weeks easy!

Don't buy this
Podravka ajvar that is in markets in my country is great. The best. Unlikely this one is very bed quality. This is not ajvar.

I love this stuff
It’s like salsa but made from bell peppers. I eat it with tortilla chips, as a spread on bread, and as a dip for pitas. I put the hot ajvar out with hummus and tatziki for a couple of friends and the ajvar disappeared first 😉

Best Ajvar outside of Croatia
This is the best Ajvar I've had since I was in Croatia. Thank you!
