My boys normally wear tje under armour cold gear for ski trips but the youth L is getting to small with this brand and they are so expensive. So with the good reviews I thought I'd try this brand. Went with the XL assuming they'd run like Under Armour, but they run bigger. much bigger. In fact we won't be able to use them this year. My boys are 10 and 11 years old and weigh 97 & 107 pounds. I would recommend the Large for youth their size. The material is much thinner than the under armour compression cold gear that we normally use. Can't comment on performance since we won't be using them this year, I'll save them for next year when they fit better.

We love these so far, but the size Medium is a bit big for my son. He is 9 and about 63 lbs. Average height and build. He'll use them for another year or more, so I don't mind. He enjoys wearing them for soccer and running.

My son wears these to hunt in below freezing temperatures. He also wears them for snow skiing. They are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. They work very well. It is also nice that they are thin and fit well under jeans, etc.

They kept my Florida kids warm when we were skiing. They do run quite big. Our kids - ages 3 and 7 both fit in the pants and they were still big Hopefully they will last for a few seasons!

Hot Chilliys have been our choice for many years and have not disappointed us yet. Keeps you warm and no special laundering required. We are in the third generation of Chilly users!

I bought two pairs of these for my daughters cold soccer games and they worked great. Lightweight so they can fit under their uniform and still kept them warm.
