Good product. I tried it on an older reel first. It worked and the reel cranked smoothly. There was no significant difference. I also applied some to a felt drag (normally I would use reel grease) and seem to tighten down nicely it would stop a fish. I am not sure of the long term use over grease.Good product.

Not the best price I have seen but the oil seems first rate as is the applicator bottle in which it is packaged.
