Acacia Wood Cutting Board with Juice Groove, Wooden Chopping Board for Kitchen, 14” x 7” x 5/8”

It is just what I needed I have 2 other cutting boards but I needed one to catch the juices when I cut tomatoes and this is the perfect size. Other people said it was not well made but mine is smooth and nice looking.

Perfect for cutting one veggie or fruit. Like the fact that it’s sturdy and durable and smaller.

Very poor quality. Not properly sanded and very rough, meaning food sticks to the surface and makes it impossible to sanitize. Little flecks of wood come off when ingredients are tipped off of the board. If you're only going to use it as a tiny trivet it might work but it's useless as a cutting board.

Attractive looking and do the job but not very durable. I admit I’m quite hard on my cutting boards. They sometimes get left in the sink or have to wait until the end of the day to be cleaned but compared to other cutting boards i’ve had, especially the cheap bamboo ones, these don’t last very long. I’ve had these a little over a month and one has already cracked. Compared to my cheaper bamboo cutting boards that lasted at least a year before they started to show wear it feels a little unreasonable that these would show damage so quickly. If you’re very careful with your things and are willing to oil these fairly regularly I think they would be a good purchase but otherwise maybe stick to the cheaper bamboo ones.Additionally they need to be washed thoroughly before using. When they arrived they had lots of dust and splinters coming off of them and it took several washes for them to stop shedding.

This is a good quality cutting board. Looks as pictured and very durable. If it was bigger, would look great on my counter.

CONTEXTMy husband and I have two wooden cutting boards, both of which are special to us (my brother made one and the other was engraved and gifted). They both are very hefty and a bit of a hassle to use, especially when we are just cutting something small like a lemon.PROS- The wood is so pretty!- It has a groove for juices! Love it.CONS- When it first came in the mail it was wrapped in plastic and had a paper/cardboard label thing inside of that. Both the plastic, cutting board and the paper/cardboard label looked to be wet or soaked in something... I opened it and sure enough, it was quite oily. I immediately brought it to the kitchen and washed it. Seems fine now, but really weirded out that it came this way.- As I was washing the board, I noticed that it is not smooth in a lot of places... it's actually quite rough and seemed like perhaps it had some use to it before or something. Obviously, I know that's not the case but just threw me off.- I know it says 8", but dang! Did not realize how SMALL it was. HahaOVERALLI like this cutting board, but would probably not purchase it again if I had to.

I purchased this primarily due to the size. I have a couple other cutting boards, but wanted something smaller. This is the perfect size.

Good price for nice product.

Product sheds wood and splinters all over after just a week of use. This board is just used for cutting apples and other fruits. A health risk.Update: Seller has given me a refund with no hassle. I hope they seek to improve the quality of this product, because food safety is very important.
