They shoot good
I got these for a 50 caliber AEA Megalodon. I was looking for something lighter in grain weight to use and these were cheap enough. They shoot 2 inch groups at 100 yards from a sandbag set up. Would probably produce even better groups from shooting vise or benchrest set up. They are supposed to be sized exact what AEA’s 50 caliber barrels use , which is .495. I checked 15 of the slugs just randomly pulling from the box and none were off more than 2 hundredths , this is mainly where the mold breaks off and the little tiny places that are left from that process, kind of common on anything not turned when producing. I went through the whole box and corrected those places on maybe 15 out of the 50 , it took 15 minutes. Buy these if you need to be more accurate than the .495 round lead ball ammo would be. Those balls are great to plink with and if you shop around you can get them as low as 12 cents per ball. Accuracy is decent if they have been swagged. When you want to be a little more accuracy these slugs are almost exact same weight as the round ball ammo. The two compliment each other sort of , or the slugs do the ball ammo I guess. Anyway, the slugs work, I wouldn’t be afraid to hunt with them , they are fairly devastating when they mushroom, at least to gallon jugs of water and cantaloupes😂 Happy Shooting every one, hopefully some of that will help you decide if they will work for you.

Epoxy resin copies
Was exactly what i needed for my project i made a silicone mould of these bad boys and was able to create epoxy resin copies that can be shot out of the uramex TR50 average weight is 14 to 18 grains per epoxy copy. Disclaimer; Extremely accurate and deadly make and use with extreme caution.

Not for HDR TR50 at all unless made into a mold.
Umarex HDR TR50:Out of the box, these aren't 50 cal. They're a tad bigger at 51-52 and require a few minutes or so of filing and checking if it'll fit the magazine. Having to do that 50 times is a bother, especially at the cost of these. That doesn't matter at all though because with a new cartridge they don't even shoot 10 yards. As I assumed, they WAY too heavy. But, if you make a silicone mold of them, their copies come out the perfect size. To do this I put a dab of hot glue on the skirt and pressed them flat into a pie pan. I was able to fit 45 of then in the pan I used. I then poured a silicone mold mixture over them and left the pan on a level surface for just over 24 hours to dry. The originals came out easily and I then filled the mold using hot glue. Once they all fully dried I popped them out, cut the excess off the bottom with a razor, then stuffed a BB into the tip of each one. Even though they're just mostly and not completely perfect, they fly straight and accurately through my gun. To make them more accurate to the originals, I recommend using a fine tipped glue gun which I now have on order.

Good Hammer target ammo!
I wouldn’t hunt with these rounds. They have a considerable drop at 100 yards due to the weight. Great for 50 yard range work.

Inconsistent shapes
Many of the pellets had rough edges and bumps that required a file to smooth them before my device would cycle properly.
