The media could not be loaded. I use this in my daughter’s natural hair and it’s a huge game changer. She doesn’t have dandruff but gets dry flaky scalp so I decided to use this product to see if it would make a difference and it changed the game. I wash her hair once every 2 weeks and twist it and as I’m twisting it, I grease her scalp and the perimeter with this treatment and no more flaky scalp! I swear by this stuff. The thickness and consistency isn’t like the old school Blue Magic hair grease. This is looser and more like a cream but IT WORKS and keeps her hair moisturized without feeling oily or greasy.

I saw this quite of few times when buying new hair products on here, so I finally decided to buy it and try it out. First of all, it smells pretty good and it definitely softens and moisturizes your hair. However, I made the mistake of thinking it would have the thickness of regular hair grease. It does not. It has a low viscosity, probably lower than lotion. So things will get messy if you are moving too fast when applying it. Also if you are using it while you’re doing your hair it will stain your fingernails after a while. I used it as I installed faux locks and after I finished my finger nails were blue for the rest of the day, and even a day later. I wasn’t too bothered by it, but just something to keep in mind. Another thing is, you don’t need to add too much of it when apply it to your hair. Not to say you only need a drop but it spreads through your hair fairly quickly. So just a light two finger spread should be enough for a twisted section of hair. If your hair is past your shoulders then of course you’ll probably need more than that. It’s just to give you an idea of how much of it you might need to use. Anyway, I hope this helps you in your choice :)

This blue magic, I thought it was the hair grease my mom use on our hair when we were younger, that was some amazing stuff, well I was very disappointed, this was some white, creamy looking conditioner, you can’t leave it in cause it turns your hair white, but it supposed to be leave in conditioner, didn’t like it at all.

I did not read the reviews before I purchased this thinking it was a variation of the original hair pomade. To my surprise when I opened the jar it was a light blue lotion with a not so nice fragrance. This product should be packaged in a bottle not a jar. I guess I am stuck with this one but I will definitely purchase the original Blue Magic that always made my hair soft and gave it great shine.

I was looking for the traditional blue magic, I was taken a back when I opened it and realized this is a completely different texture and all! Still works great though I just should have done better research. This is more like the texture of cream/lotion.
