Moto X 2nd Gen Naked Tough Cases Clear/Clear

I've had this case for a little over 6 months and it's proven to be great. When purchasing the Moto X 2nd gen, I was furiously searching for the a case that also protected the screen. Alas, no such thing existed at the time so I bought this. I had an iPhone before and purchased Speck cases, which saved my phone so many times it's not funny. It was a little pricier that I wanted but it hold the phone well and keeps most debris out. I had one instance last week were my phone got wet and I had to take the phone out of the case to dry it off. The most annoying thing about this case is that I can't use voice commands. The Moto X is awesome about offering text messages to be read when driving but my phone can never hear my voice. When I took the case off, I had no problems. There have been times were I have adjusted the case and my voice could be heard.PROS:- durable - survived many drops, no scratches on the case or phone- clarity - still clear! Some people said this case can turn yellow, no hints of that and my phone has a white rim so it would show.- resistant to crumbs, water, sand and various debris- strongCONS:- Wish it had a front screen cover- Occasionally can't use voice commands when case is blocking microphone. (This has been frustrating for me)

The plastic is much 'grippier' than the standard back of the phone, so it feels much more secure in my hand. The way the bumper fits between the edge of the phone and the case seems like it would distribute impact force better to reduce damage. Does not add a lot of bulk to the device's form factor.

This case fits the Moto X (second generation) perfectly. With the exception of the bumper around the edges (the first/interior layer of the case), it's about as clear as can be, which is exactly what you want if you've got a customized version of the phone. All necessary cutouts appear to be present, and the metallic buttons are both a nice touch and function as well as the phone's actual buttons below. I have not yet dropped this phone, so I'll surely be adding to this review once I know how well the case holds up and protects my phone when dropped.

They must have changed the case. Apparently, it used to be frosted. The one I received is clear. A lot of people have commented on how they like it. It fits well and protects my phone like I wanted. The microphones on the back each have their own little hole so that's not an issue either. I would recommend this product.

Impossible to install. (The case has a separate frame and it's just too small.)The iGadgitz case -- also on Amazon and 1/3 the price -- is an excellent alternative.

From the photos, I was a little reluctant to purchase this case as it appears a little bulky. However, it is quite slim and the plastic helps in preventing drops. It isn't easy to get on or off, but once I did, I liked how it displays the custom backing. The only complaint is that dust can still get between the phone and case, and the bumper can discolor over time. In general this is a great case and I will probably purchase it again on another model.

I loved this phone case! I wanted to display the back of my phone while also having some protection. This did exactly that! So happy with it.

It's super expensive but from what I could tell, the best available for the Moto-X 2014 to show off your sweet wood phone. No regrets with purchase after a few drops.
