Great spectrum and penetration for all stages
Long time cool tube HID user but had bought an LED for vegetative years ago and wasnโt that impressed. After researching COBโs these were in a recent online article as the top 7 lights on the market now (growliteinfo.com). So in a nut shell the color spectrum in the actual chip, (Epistar) has IR and UV built in and off the charts vs others using supplementary diodes to achieve this. I absolutely love the colors, a pinkish hue, and so to my plants as they pray to it. I never thought I would use anything other than HID for flowering but when I turned this on I was blown away by the penetration and colors. The plants just love it and as you can see next to a 600 watt in my picture for yourself it only draws 256 watts and the tent temps are easily maintained and still get closer to the plants. I have ordered another 1800 watt unit but frankly think 5 chips are more than enough. Just buy it you wonโt be disappointed. Itโs a great value for the money and the best $130 Iโve spent this year.

THE ONE!!! Until they come out with something new, THIS is the only cob style for the money!
This is the first Cob style LED grow light that I've purchased and I am very impressed so far. I have had this light for about two weeks or so and it creates more light than my other 3 panel LED lights put together. If you are looking for a COB style with great light penetration for the money this is the only light for you. I've only tried the 1800w, but i don't know why you would even bother with the 1500w. Will update if there are any negatives too add , but so far its a fantastic light especially for only $90.

Decent for what it is
Decent for what it is. Wish they wouldn't use the term full spectrum for this light. I accidently ordered this one over the one i actually wanted. I would personally go with any other light that has an actual full spectrum, this is clearly missing. Should just be using 3500k LEDs instead of this pinkish COB they use.

Very big heat producer
This is a tough review, because this produces very intense light, like two of these what do a 5 X 5 tent, but they produce a massive amount of heat and there's just no real way to vent the heat without having a port to tie into for your exhaust system it just heats up the entire area and you can't use the light, I have a 6 inch vivosun exhaust fan and two oscillating fans, my air conditioner is set on 77 degrees but that one table light pushes it from 77 to 84 with all that air circulation. As bright as it is I'd buy something else like an excellence 1800w led. I have two in my 5x5x7 and they don't raise it 1 degree, I'm gonna get a third tho for the same tent.

Well ok we will see
Arrived working but I'm a bit surprised theirs not a "glass or plastic" to protect the LEDs I'm not sure it's needed but it seems way way brighter that the 1000 watt purple thing i have the 1800 watt will update once I get things going in for the spring

Great light!
I have 2 0f the 1500w and just added this 1800w by this manufacturer. I can definitely see a difference between the 1500 and 1800 footprint and brightness. I just brought my 2nd crop of medicinal cannabis to harvest and I am VERY happy.

This is NOT the correct COB phosphor spectrum. Not the correct temperature, NOT the spectrum shown
I am an expect in LED grow lights, I manufactured them in Shenzhen in 2005 and produced the first line of LED grow lights EVER. After 15 years in the industry, retired, I was happy to see an LED company offering a COB chip with a phosphor which is the IDEAL growlight. ALL of the others really can not compare so I guess I should give this a higher ranking because compared with the MARS lights and some others, this is a superior light.BUT, I have a 2M integration sphere which measures the wavelenghts of light put out by any light source. The spectrum that they showed in the advertisment was a good COB spectrum which produces an interesting looking light which is 1/3 white blue and 2/3 purple... yealing almost an overall pink color. This phosphor while orange in color (which is the good phosphor) produces a VERY white and cool colored light calculated to be in the 6000's kelvin. The better light is the COB chip which produces an overall color in the 3000's... kelvin...

Plants love it!
Love this. Immediately spurred new growth on my plants. I find that it has a tendency to spin into a position I didn't want with a separate hanging kit, so will explore a light rail eventually. It got wet once and popped the GFI but still works after drying off.
