Perfect for Toddler Safety- First time parents Must Buy
One of the best things about the GE Personal Security Window and Door Alarm is how loud and attention-grabbing it is. The moment my toddler opens the door, the alarm instantly sounds, making it impossible to miss. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’ll be alerted if she tries to wander out of the room or house. The volume is just right—not too overwhelming, but definitely loud enough to grab attention immediately. It’s a simple yet highly effective way to ensure extra safety for little ones. Definitely a great product for First Time parents!

great & loud
Love this for added security when there are power outages. It’s very loud, but discrete so it’s not an eye sore for esthetic.

**Simple Effective Security You Can Rely On**
I was looking for an affordable and easy way to increase security around my home and I found just what I needed with these 5GE Personal Security Window and Door Alarms. I bought the 2-pack and installed both in my garage and back door in under 10 minutes. No tools required which is perfect for anyone who isn’t super handy. The setup was super straightforward and even came with clear instructions. These alarms are impressively loud for their size and the wireless chime feature is a game-changer. I love the fact that I can hear the alarm from anywhere in the house when someone opens a door or window. The white design blends in nicely with my walls and doors so they don’t stand out too much but are still very effective. What I really like is how sensitive these alarms are. A slight touch or even a breeze will set it off. This gives me peace of mind knowing that I’m covered when I’m away or sleeping. Plus, the sound is sharp enough that anyone trying to break in would definitely think twice.I’ve had no issues with battery life so far and the wireless setup means I don’t have to deal with tangled wires or complicated systems. It’s a great solution for renters like me who can’t drill into the walls.Whether you’re looking to secure your home, garage, or apartment, these alarms are a solid choice. They give that extra layer of security you need without being a hassle to install or maintain. Highly recommend if you want a quick and reliable solution!

Who Let the Dogs Out?
My car was broken into in March and the steering column was tampered with in an attempt to steal the car. The man who tried the theft looked up at our cameras as he walked up our driveway, right under a bedroom window, and took only seconds to break into the car. Our dogs never made a sound, and so we heard nothing. It was all caught on our neighbor's cameras and our neighbors also heard nothing as their two dogs never barked either These dogs bark at kids walking by, motorcycles, school buses going down the street, and birds if they chatter loudly, but they slept through the breaking in. I felt unsafe and unable to sleep.I ordered these alarms in the hopes it would keep someone from entering our home or, at the very least, alert us by making the dogs bark! We also have a young child who visits our home from time to time and a pool, this child can run like the wind so an adult is always nearby, so this alarm would give us a heads up before he even gets the door open. It is loud. I know everyone leaving a review says it is loud, so believe it. They are very loud. The alarms can be installed in a minute and work perfectly if you line them up correctly. The adhesive strips stick very well on metal and vinyl. Mine has been turned on and off several times a day and the adhesive has not given way at all. They are simple to turn on and off, so I set them every night before I go to sleep. I dread someone in the house forgetting to slide the button down to turn them off before they try to open the door or bedroom windows because I jump out of my skin. About those dogs; mine dogs go insane from the chime and the alarm sounds. One of them is an escape artist or should I say, he was. He used to push a screen door open and let himself out into a fenced in yard but now he dreads setting off the alarm and waits for the alarm to be turned off. If anyone sets it off by accident we have an immediate three ring circus of noise, bedlam.I think the noise factor between the alarm and the dogs will certainly be a deterrent for would be thieves, and probably scare off univited company as well.

Small but mighty!
We're moving from a house to an apartment soon and I was looking into affordable home security options. These alarms are perfect for renters and homeowners alike. The alarm is battery operated, so there's no need for expensive installation. Below I've listed my pros and cons of these awesome little alarms.Pros:Small, discreet design.3 settings - off, chime, alarm.Easy to toggle between the three settings.VERY loud chime and alarm settings. (I jumped when the chime went off for the first time.)No-brainer installation. (Stick on)Cheap in price but not in quality!Cons:Depending on how your door/window set up is, it may be difficult to position the alarm at the correct distance for it to work. (I included a picture showing the max distance I could position the two pieces without disrupting the link between them.)The alarm turns off when the two pieces are put back together, which I can't decide if I like or not. On one hand, it's more convenient if the shrill alarm can be quieted quickly, but for security's sake it's not the best deterrent. The alarm is loud enough that even if it's turned off quickly, you'll be alerted that your door or window was opened.Overall, I love these little alarms. I plan to order more and install them all around my house. They are smaller than I anticipated, but I'm pleased with their quality and functionality. As an avid online shopper I rely mostly on reviews while making purchase decisions, if my review was helpful to you, please click the 'Helpful' button below!
