Had bad luck with this unit
Ordered one of these and it had a problem with strange noises in the output. Ordered a replacement and the auto start feature wouldn't work correctly. Finally ordered a Bash unit. It worked fine.

Sounded great when it initially worked...
Was able to use it for maybe half a movie when I noticed during the silent parts, there is a whistling sound coming out of the subwoofer. It actually sounded really good while it was working hooked up to my passive SVS sub. Disconnected the input from the LFE port and the sound was still there. I tried a different sub and it still there. I did not turn it up loud as the level was almost the lowest. Was hoping to get a replacement instead of having to send in the defective one for a refund...

Not Reliable - Stay Away
Worked fine for a year and then blew its fuse - looks like the power supply gave up the ghost. Parts Express says I am SOL as the warranty is just for one year.

A nice amp but runs too hot.
I bought this as a cost-effective way to replace the failed amp in my Epik Vanquish sealed box subwoofer. I modifed the box to accomodate the smaller plate, installed this amp and spent a couple hours setting it up. The results are exceptional, in that the new amp performs as good or better than the old Epik amp. After I ran Audyessy in the Denon I found that frequency sweeps were smoother than the old one. Very nice! One area of concern is that the Yung amp runs far hotter than the old one, which was always relatively cool. I can hold my hand on the amp but it is rather hot (not warm) so I have doubts about it's longevity. We'll see. If it's going to fail I hope it's still within the warranty period. If it fails I'll add an addendum to this review. We'll see................June 02, 2017Well, here's that addendum. The amp failed two weeks ago (subwoofer inop - blown fuse) I tried two more fuses and each blew immediately. Called Parts Express and got an RMA number and returned the amp. Received a new one today and I'm preparing to install it tomorrow. Given the brief life of the first one I have virtually no hopes that this one will survive for long. We'll see and I'll add yet another addendum, whether it lives or dies. Here's hoping!Addendum: It's now Feb 20, 2019, and the amp is going strong. Apparently the first failure was an anamoly. This one seems to be rock-solid and runs cooler than the first. Now 5 stars!old arkiedan

WA WA WE WA!
VERY NICE! HOW MUCH?!Like many other Epik Legend owners, I had a faulty amp. And like the class act company that Epik was, they did not honor any warranties for the last year or so before they went out of business. So I needed a replacement amp (around 300w RMS and a 6-8bd boost @ around 22-30hz) This fit the bill perfectly! With light modifications to my sub box, i was able to have this amp power my 2 12'' subs in my Epik perfectly. Great sound, cool to the touch (Even when I'm beating on it!)Great all around amp, I hope I have this amp for years to come.

Very powerful amp
I bought this amp expecting a lot. I have the yung sd 100 driving a 10 inch kicker and it sounds great in a custom slot vented box. I have the sd300-6 driving two kicker 10's for my ht also in a slot vented box. This amp makes them sound amazing, they shake the entire house. I've tried other plate amps, but this one (especially for the price) really sounds great. If you are a diy kind of person, get one of these amps, you will not be disappointed.
