Width and thickness are great for larger fittings. Works great on 2.5 copper. Stay in place in these larger grooves. Doesn’t walk like regular Teflon tape

Should be less plasticy and more rubbery. I was disappointed the quality of the material used.

This is a review for Blue Monster PTFE thread tape, 70887, 1" x 1429".The roll instructions say "minimum 3 wraps required." I'm not sure that I have adhered (no pun intended) to that rule (maybe have done 2 wraps only).When you first lay the tape on the pipe threads, it doesn't grab as quickly as the white tape does. However, once you get the tape wrapped around the pipe's circumference one time, the tape will adhere to itself and be "sticky."Yes, the tape is usually trashed after you unscrew something. You will have to use fresh tape. However, unlike the white tape, it's not completely trashed, stringy, and hard to remove.The roll is large and I feel like you get a generous amount.The blue color is maybe more conspicuous-looking than the white tape.Over all, this quality and thickness of this tape is very good. It is an improvement over the white tape.

It works! I had a BAD leaky pipe, it adhered perfectly. I barely had to use any so I will have this product for future needs. It’s been about two months and I haven’t had any drip or leak since using! I would absolutely recommend

I have an old boiler for hot water heating that had leaking valves and connections. I replaced all of them and tried 2 different kinds of thread compound and another brand of tape and still had leaks! It was driving me crazy...and then I found the Blue Monster! Sealed the first time, looks clean, and was way easy to use. I'll never use anything else. Try a roll and I'm sure you will be convinced.

I tried the cheaper stuff and it didn’t work at all. This tape is great - does just what I needed it to do in my shower. I used it in two places: the shower filter and the shower head. Perfect!
