Great additon to any Department 56 Village
I choose this rating because it shipped and was on time, the product was what I wanted and expected exactly. I've never had an issue with any of the quality of the products and this is no exception it was perfect. I like that it fits in with both the Halloween village perfectly like it's meant to be. I also liked the color and material it's made out of. Makes it look realistic and easy to use over and over and easy to store. I would recommend this to anyone who has both the Department 56 Snow village and or Halloween Village it works perfectly for both.

Real nice product, but...
Purchased this because I am building a doll house and am using this as a stone look foundation! Love the look, and love the color! The scale works great also! However, I carefully measured the amount I need and it is 47 3/8 inches. I bought this because it says it's 48 inches long. When laying it out on the foundation, it came up short, I measured again and 47 3/8 was exact! Turns out the 48 Inch roll is actually 45 13/16 inches long! Figured out a way to redo the steps so the foundation won't show behind them and it will fit, whew! Love the product, just a bit shorter than listed! That's the only reason for four stars!

Really enhances our Dickens Village!
I've read where some don't like the material as much as older pieces of cobblestone from Dept 56, but to be honest, I like it better! Easier to lay flat and easier to cut to fit. I've used the older material and stuff from Lemax, but this is my favorite type of cobblestone; easy to work with and looks great!

It worked out perfectly for my Ring peephole Fall door decor
This brick road worked out really well for my door decor. It is light so it is wasier to work with while using double sided velcro

Great, but you'll need more than you think
My wife was the progenitor of the Department 56 stuff in our house. We actually inherited it from her mother, who was an avid collector. Once we had it, I quickly became a fan. I now look forward to setting up little villages all over our house after Thanksgiving every year. She recently purchased this for me for some of our more residential setups (homes, etc.). I initially was really worried because it came rolled up pretty tight. I thought it would pucker and not lay flat. That was only the case for the internal most portion (maybe 1"). It cut easily and stayed right were it was placed. I would suggest maybe purchasing two if you have several scenes you want to add it to because it didn't go as far as I though. This was primarily because when you have to start cutting pieces to go directly to steps, it goes pretty fast. I was very impressed at how thick it is and how easily it laid out. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who has the Department 56 Snow Village.

Item is as described. Not sure why other people have said its 'flimsy' or poor quality. It is a cobblestone street for a VILLAGE in your house NOT to drive on. It looks good, and is appropriate for a Christmas village. Cost is a 'bit high' considering it's manufactured plastic but one would imagine if you wait until after Christmas when you don't need it you can get some great deals =)

Looks great but not 4ft.
Bought these to use on a display platform I am building. They are much easier than hand making cobble stone streets and they look great but one big issue. I was making 4 2ft x 2ft displays and you can see in the photo they are not 48 inches. One is 47.5 and the other a little less than that. It means on 2 of the displays I would be short at least half an inch.
