It's REALLY long, and a little wobbly.
I needed this just in time for the lock-down. But it is really long, and the separation section must be used in conjunction with the clamp. It is not an option to use one without the other. I just wrapped it up several times like a spring and secured it with twist ties to keep from springing around. When stretched out full length, there might be an issue holding the weight of an iPad. The clamps are fine in any direction. I think the iPad holds well in the clamp whichever way you orientate the display.

Works perfectly as intended, and I use it daily.
I have it mounted to the bottom edge of my bed mattress. Since I’ve clipped it on I haven’t moved it once. When before I had it on my nightstand but I had to keep my drawer open in order to mount it to the top. So then I would take it in the kitchen to use it while cooking which really comes in handy but lately it’s just been stationary on my bed. It works like a charm. Because I’ve been concerned with the fact that when my iphone is too close to my body, it seems to cause some sort of pain, and it’s in my opinion the radiation or whatever it is, which I feel while web browsing, certain sights seem to have more of an effect. So, I would normally prop up my phone on a bunched up blanket or one of my throw pillows but I constantly had to adjust it etc.. So this holder has made it very convenient for me to use my phone without it killing me softly (lol) or being too close to me, and it’s unique materials Allows it to bend and maneuver so easily and adjust it to whatever position I need it. Then while I fall asleep to music or watching (listening) to the news, I just push it down to the side of my bed mattress leaving slack for my head phone wire and my phone remains clear from my body, if I fall asleep. As well, if not in use I have it at eye level off to the side, while charging at night, and it’s at perfect reach for, when my alarm goes off in the morning, without trying to find my phone or reach and feel for it on my nightstand, while half asleep and it falling off onto the floor, etc.. it’s no longer an issue. I’ve also mounted in my car and used it, when I first got it and it came in great use while using my map app to go to an appointment out of town. My Son got one as well, which he uses to watch movies / series he watches online, which he stated was perfect, because he doesn’t have to hold his phone up the whole time. My only complaint, which isn’t that serious or not often, while adjusting it, if I don’t move the phone holding clamp itself and try to move it from the actual phone, it comes off and falls. But I’ve learned to only twist or turn that position if the phone holder without it doing that. But it’s very handy and I honestly use it everytime I get comfortable in bed, to read articles or anything basically, as well Watch my things, that my husband might not also want to watch, and I put it on with headphones and that’s it.... My phone case is a slim 360 fitted case, so I’m not sure how it might hold with other or thicker type phones or cars. It’s a iPhone plus sized phone so it’s framing is larger than the smaller average sized in measurements. I got the light pink color which is a nice tone and it came boxed and perfectly secure when it arrived. No broken or missing pieces, and I haven’t had anything from it break or malfunction since I’ve owned it, a couple months I think it’s been. Hope this review gives you a good idea of the product. As I originally went through different reviews and descriptions for several options prior to purchasing these ones. I’m happy with it. If anything changes or breaks going forward, I will update my review and stance on this item. Thanks guys

Tablet arm, seems pretty sturdy.
Thought I was ordering the phone-sized one, but when it arrived, it is clearly for tablets. However, I decided to keep it because it fits my phone lengthwise. The phone clamp is not deep enough to use with my popsocket, so what I did is extend my popsocket out and then put the phone in the clamp on the edge of the phone, scooting it right up to the popsocket. It feels secure enough this way. I plan on using this to watch videos when I am lying on my back on the floor for daily stretching, so I won’t be using this in a way where I have to touch the phone a lot. It would also make a good tripod-type item for filming videos or taking self-timed photos, kind of like a really long gorilla pod.

Great product!!
Edit: they shipped me a new product free of charge. Lovely customer service and the product is perfect and such a lovely pink color!!! 10/10 i strongly recommend :))Original review: The clasps were broken and sealed shut. This was the only problem I had with the product but it makes it unusable. I will change my review if i receive a new product since this one is defective :( I tried for almost an hour to pry the clasps open with a pair of chopsticks, but I ended up just getting a chopsticks stuck, so that's what the pink spike is.

It's worth what it's worth
The only downside is that it WILL move easily. It's not steady. However, it does hold up a phone well, the arm is steady but may be not enough that if you tap it , it will shake
