Great value, fun to have and use, kids love them!
The flashlights are similar in build and brightness to other flashlights of similar size I own, only these come in different colors. I actually got them fory kids to play with as a fun variation on white light. They're always taking my flashlights!The blacklight is dimmer than the others, no surprise, but sufficient for it's purpose.One flashlight, I believe my green, turns on when the battery cap is fully screwed in. The off button will not operate unless I back out the cap a turn or so. It's fine for my purposes, the tolerances are tight so it isn't rattling or anything, but I'm sure this eliminates any weatherproofing.They all strobe, and the modes cycle with the on/off button. A full button press turns the light on/off and switches the mode to the next in the cycle. This isn't ideal in my opinion but is a pretty common method of operation.The zoom lenses work as expected, pretty standard but great to have.We attended a night walk with about a thousand pumpkins on display. White lights were banned since they ruin the ambiance and hurt the eyes of onlookers, but the red flashlight was permitted and less obtrusive. Glad we have it.A fantastic value and good items to have in the house regardless of any minor issues.

There are others that look like these but they are not as bright - I have them all so I know this.
I have an application for these small LED's so have tried several ones - all run on the 3.6 volt AA or the 1.5 volt batteries - regardless of what battery used these are noticeably brighter and run warmer and drain the battery faster but only slightly so net net these are the ones for maximum brightness if that is a factor in your decision.
