To anyone in the market for a high-value pair of backup sights: look no further. These IMI Defense sights rival Magpul's MBUS sights in durability and functionality at a significantly lower price point. I am particularly fond of the front sight post, which does not require a tool to adjust elevation (unlike the standard MBUS sights). The adjustment knobs for elevation and windage, the one-piece flip-up/down apertures, and the flip-up sight bases, themselves, all provide very positive lockup and will not work loose during extended periods of rapid fire or other movement. The sight adjustments appear to travel 1/2" per click at 100 yards, which is easily sufficient for the purpose of zeroing a backup sight.Like many prospective buyers, I came across this product while searching for a basic pair of backup sights to supplement the existing optic on my AR-15. After 1000 rounds and no loss of zero, I can say with confidence that these sights provide a quality alternative to more expensive and more common BUIS options.As most buyers will compare directly to the MBUS sights, I will provide a few points of distinction:1. Unlike the MBUS sights, these IMI sights are not spring-loaded. Both front and rear sights must be manually lifted to deploy, and are retained by spring-loaded ball bearings which lock securely in both the up and down positions.2. The IMI rear sight is nearly identical in function to the MBUS rear sight, with the exception of the single-piece apertures. I prefer this to the two-piece flap system on the Magpul sights, though the difference in sight picture is minor.3. Like the MBUS rear sight, the IMI rear sight is slightly wider than the rail on the upper receiver, and makes gripping a standard mil-spec charging handle slightly more difficult when the sight is not deployed. To avoid this I moved the rear sight several slots forward on the picatinny rail.4. The front sight is more similar to the MBUS Pro sights, in that rotating a wheel adjusts elevation. This is a huge improvement over the standard MBUS front sight, which requires a separate tool to adjust.5. Like the MBUS sights, the IMI sights deploy to standard AR15 height for co-witnessing with red dot optics.6. Both the MBUS and IMI sights are constructed of lightweight heat- and impact-resistant polymer.

I have used this for several months now, and think these are good polymer sights for the price. My front post was a little bent, but was able to straighten without much trouble. I don't think the front sight has a great deal of adjustment range. My AR platform is sighted at 25yds with these sights but at 100yds I am shooting about 2-inches higher regardless of the type of ammo I am shooting, and there is no more adjustment in the front post. 2-inches might not sound bad, but I can imagine it being greater at longer distances.The rear sight peep has two size apertures, large and small. I have found that this can flip fairly easy on it's own. I decided to lock-tite mine to a single position. These two issues are not deal breakers though. I think these are fine for what they are intended for: inexpensive polymer back-up sights.

These are fantastic sights for the money. These do not have the spring deployment but I knew that when I bought them. They seem to be very well made and the price for the set was very worth it. These seem to be as well made as Magpul but were quite a bit cheaper. They lock up and down very securely and do not budge while shooting or transporting. These are perfect for someone who wants a different look on their rifle, worth every penny.

Seems solid fit snuggly with no wobble I will update after some range time so far so good. Update: went to the range and was on paper at 50 yards and pretty close to zero they held up great and did not get loose. Extremely easy to adjust I recommend these sights for anyone who wants good reliable back up sights for half the price of magpul. Would definitely buy again.

Fits Snugly on rail, snaps nicely into position, holds zero, easy to adjust, appears well made, material has withstood 5 to 100+deg F without issue. Have only paired these together so can't comment on using rear with fixed front sight. Only quibble is, as these are not spring loaded, ya pretty much have to grab the rear sight by the windage adjustment knobs to deploy. NBD except, when I swing the sights up into position it sometimes feels like the windage knob is turning, the detent for the ambi windage knobs could be more positive. That being said these are back-up sights on a scope equipped AR, now that they're sighted in, they won't get used all that often. I like that I can leave either aperture available without any part sticking up.

Their good. Not as good as a set of Magpuls, but for the price they aren't bad. Only problem is they do not automatically deploy. You have to flip them up manually. If can afford them go straight for the Magpuls. If you can't then these will do.

Easy to install. Did not budge when I fired over 200 rounds. Good clear sight picture. Front sight was dead on at 100 yards. Will buy another set for another build.

Good sights, but they might not fit all picatinny rails. I had to tap on them with a tool to position them on my gun because they are only designed to slide on and off.
