Yes, this is polyester, so it doesn't breathe. But it's also a satin weave polyester, so it is shiny, soft and lightweight. A size small fits me at 5'4" and 126 lbs. The color is beautiful and the white piping, notched collar and fabric buttons are elegant. The buttons are small but easy to use, even though I don't have good hand strength. I usually like to wear a robe, but polyester robes are a neverending battle to keep closed. This nightshirt has a dropped back that protects me from flashing my family when I reach overhead or when I bend down to pick something up. It isn't clingy or tight, and even though it isnt a stretch material, I feel like I have good freedom of movement. It's very lightweight and I think it will be my go-to pajama for traveling. It may be a better value when it is at a lower price point but I haven't found something yet that is comfortable, beautiful, lightweight, and modest, so I am glad I found it on Amazon.

I have purchased 10 of these sleep shirts. I love them for their satin fabric and the thickness of said fabric. The colors are rich, do not fade or run, also. Embroidery is beautiful.Be aware:I have had issues with the piping eventually shrinking then puckering along the entire length of these trims. No way to remedy this, I tried! This has happened with all of my shirts at about the 30th wash/drying. Yes, I use a dryer. Yes, I dried them on low. I did try to save a few of these gowns by hang drying them prior to the shrink/pucker stage but they were incredibly wrinkled. I hate ironing. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Yep, tried other variations of partial dryer drying then hanging. Eventually, the puckering happened.(I continue to buy more of these because they are so lux & pretty.)Also, the sleeves and shoulders are sewn for PETITE body types. I am 5". They fit my torso perfectly. What everyone else means by a "small fit" is just this. The sleeves are 4" too short, 1/2 way up the forearm for standard sized women. The shoulders would def be too tight for normal frames.

It is difficult to find this style nightgown. The fit is exactly as stated, the quality is superb and the length is just above my knee. The feel of the material is smooth and silky. I'm very pleased. I ordered three and caught them at a time when the price was lowered to almost half!

Comfy and flattering

Sizes run smaller than expected. Ordered 2 sizes up just to be safe and still did not fit my shoulder width but fits fine chest down. I'm 5'10" & wear large-1x with about 22" at shoulders & 46" bust (if this helps anyone else with expected sizing Other than size, the material and craftsmanship are very good. Very pretty sleep shirt

Love how this feels on my skin. I would suggest ordering a size larger than usual. Also, this item is surprisingly long..I almost returned it because of that but decided to sleep in it and got hooked! Seeing the picture on the model, I assumed it would be a couple inches above the knee. I'm 5'4 and it hangs below my knees. I love it,tho, and have ordered another.

I have looked for this type of night shirt for several years to replace some that are very old and worn. These night shirts are exactly as described. The polyester fabric is machine washable and doesn't wrinkle, yet it feels and looks like silk! I am very pleased with these night shirts and highly recommend them. They fit as expected. Order a larger size that normal if you'd like to have a looser fit.
