Best Lotion Bar I’ve Tried
Some lotion bars smell great and are moisturizing but are really too hard at room temperature to be applied easily (Honey House Naturals), and some are fantastic smelling and easy to apply but end up not absorbing as well, leaving your hands feeling greasy (Moon Valley Organics).Seattle Sundries bars are PERFECT. They smell amazing, they are really moisturizing, easy to apply, and they absorb enough to not leave your hands feeling greasy. The beeswax really does a great job of creating a moisture barrier, which really helps, especially in winter. The tins are small and portable, and the fact that the lids screw on is a big plus for me.The bars are a little smaller than other brands, but that actually seems to make them easier to use. (Cost wise, these are the same or better than the other brands I’ve tried)The fragrances are very natural - the Mandarin Mint smells like my mint garden in summer.I will definitely buy this brand again!

GREAT STUFF!
I love this stuff! I think off all the beeswax lotion bars I have tried, this ones pulls ahead to FIRST PLACE! first of all, the first ingredient is beeswax- that’s important for me. I am a nurse, a mom, I tend a woodstove, I wash dishes, I ski, and play outside all winter (5mos in upstate NY). I HAD yet to find something that worked for my dry, red, cracked hands... until now. And pleas let me stress that I have tried EVERYTHING! The great thing about this bar is that after it settles into your skin, there is no greasy residue. I always thought the greasier he better for my poor hands, but I now know that was not true! On to the scents....Lemon Verbena is potent and strong and I don’t care for it, but that being said... it discipates quickly and leaves a gentle lemon scent behind for a little while and then that is gone too.Mandarin Mint is delightful smelling. Order this!Vanilla almond is potent, but calms down quickly to a gentle scent like you your sniffing marzipan cookies. Second choice!Ylang Ylang Lavendar is also strong and I don’t care for it... but that is because I personally don’t care for Ylang Ylang. I use this one on my feet. These bars are small, so don’t be disappointed... They go a long way when used!

Compact
Interesting and compact. Gets some getting use to the different texture, but good for purse and car.

It's a lotion bar...
These are nice, very portable lotion bars. I haven't had a problem with stickiness, as mentioned in other reviews. In fact, I love lotion bars because they avoid the slimy factor of more liquid lotion. Just rub it on your hands and then rub your hands together - should work just fine. The scents are nice, the tubs are a great way to transport (I've used tacky ziplock bags before), and the sampler set lets me keep a small amount of lotion in my car, my bag, and wherever else I want.

Very sticky
I was really interested in the bar lotion idea and excited to find a variety pack of scents and samples. I put it on 2 hours ago and my hands are still so sticky I stick to whatever I touch. Not sure which ingredients are responsible, but very unplesant. Won't buy this product again.

Easy to travel with but not super hydrating.
Purchased to make air travel easier. I love the small packaging but didn't find the bars very hydrating. They do smell great. I think I'll try another product in the future.

Wonderful Lotion Bars
I've been on the lookout for a great lotion bar since Lush quit making them (or at least my most favorites). These ones are about as close as I've come to that experience. They smell wonderful and keep my hands from feeling dry. If you've never used a lotion bar you'll need to know that they're a bit of work. You have to let them warm a little on your skin, work them in your hands a bit and then you'll have an amount you can work into your skin. They are somewhat waxy but it does soak in. The sticky waxiness was my biggest complaint in all the other bars I've tried. Too many of them are just like applying a heavy layer of wax that *never* soaks in to your skin and eventually you have to wipe it off before you can do anything. There is a bit of a wait period with these bars and you do have to keep rubbing it in but it does eventually become less waxy and sticky and then your hands will just feel soft. Lush lotion bars will forever be my most favorite but I'm glad to have finally found a replacement! The only thing I wish... that you could buy replacement bars wrapped in paper instead of getting a brand new tin. :)
