VersefindersBible Index Tabs - Gold, Horizontal

I have used Versefinders Bibile Index tabs - many difference colors - for a couple of decades now. I have a collection of bibles - some I keep - others I give away. I have use this brand, Versefinders, exclusively because the horizontal design requires only two rows so all tabs can be seen at a glance. I've used these tabs on many bibles for other people through the past numerous years. I've never found any other that comes close. I love the veriety offered...gold, silver, kids, rainbow, large print, blue damask and others. I was very disappointed when I could no longer buy them at the Christian bookstore in my area. They have chosen another brand to feature. I've ordered directly from the ccompany and also here on Amazon. As you can see by the picture, I keep a variety on hand. Really really really like this product!

I deeply regret having places these on my new Bible. If I could remove them I would but it would tear my pages. They are only printed on one side! So unless you’re starting with a closed book, you will never be able to make use of them. If you are anywhere after Genesis, and want to find an earlier chapter, you are out of luck. I am so sad to have done this to my new Bible!

The tabs work just fine. They do the job and make it easier to get around in the Bible. However you need to know something about these tabs. When I buy tabs for my Bible I expect a tab per book, not to have books of the Bible grouped into one tab. I can live with a couple of them grouped like the lettered in the new testament that are one page. But 1st and 2nd chronicles? Samuel? Thesalonians? Really? Those are significant books that should have their own tabs. This may sou do like I am not picking but for almost ten bucks I don't expect you to cut costs by eliminating tabs lime that. Be warned

I have purchased so many bible tabs in the past. This set was easier to apply and looks nice on my bible pages. Some tabs have the writing so small that I questioned why I would purchase a set that I need my bifocals to just see the abbreviated tabs. I know where the chapters are but as I am getting older and even with my glasses on, it's hard to see at times; so I decided on these tabs and I love them. I wish I had ordered these tabs for all my other bibles.

Okay. I looked FOREVER for non-cutesy Bible tabs and these were the best I found. They are sturdy and lovely!They look nice, but it is disappointing that they double up books on one tab as my particular Bible is chronological so there are a few I will have to mark out and therefore the books themselves will not have tabs.

Not what I expected. The tabs are way too thick for the thin Bible pages. It detroys the pages. Not good at all for me. Do not recommend them.

They are easy to apply. The problem I have is that they combine too many Old Testament books on 1 tab and they don't line up with my bible. The order of my Old Testament is in the order: Torah, Prophets, & Writings. The way they combine some of the books, it doesn't allow for me to label my bible correctly. Song of Solomon & Ruth have no labels. So these will not work if your OT books are out of the normal order.

The tabs are great because they are plastic and not paper. I was glad to be able to find these because I have a set on another bible. You don's have to look sideways to read them. Easy to apply and looks very nice with gold accents. Large print and easy to read. Saves lots of frustration trying to find what book you want quickly. I just got my new Expositor's study bible and was anxious to use them. Of course, delivery was very quick and came to the door on Sunday. Way to go Amazon!!!!
