Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit 60728

This is a great product. Simple to install. I put them on a 1993 Toyota Land cruiser. I load up the back of the vehicle and pull a trailer that is about 1500 LBS. With out the Air Lift the truck was low in the rear. It felt unsafe to drive. I installed these in about 2.5 hours alone. They leveled out my ride when fully loaded and the cruiser felt much more safe while traveling. If you are putting it on a land cruiser, you will need a 12mm socket on an extension to remove the Upper bump stops. Then you will have to get the bump stops out. I cut mine in half with my cordless sawzall and pulled them out of the spring area. I figured I was not going to use them. Have the car jacked up with the wheels dropping so the spring is spread out. Then install the bag. Put in lines. Very simple. Very effective. When you are not loaded you release the air down to 5lbs and you have your same ride height as before. Super simple. Super effective. I strongly recommend this product.

Installed perfectly into my Lexus LX470 in preparation to haul a small camper. I wanted to go with a non-standard fill location and needed more air line. I contacted Air Lift and they were happy to send me extra line at no cost. Great company and I will be using them again.

I really wanted these to work but I am constantly having leaks. All the other kits have spacers to put in between the airbag to help the line not get kinked but this kit doesn't include anykind of spacer. I fill mine with a bike pump and when I fill a bag to 30psi or higher when I unhook the pump from the schrader valve it loses all its air. That lil swoosh of air unhooking it empties the bag completely. I can't ever get it to keep air. I'm gonna put my stock bump stops back in. I can't depend on this setup when fully loaded down on long road trips. Tired of messing with airlines. Everytime I check them there empty. I add air and recheck and there empty. I think without a spacer around the bag it's kinking the line and when I put air in it, its not reaching the bag. Its pressurizing the line? Saying it's at 30psi and releasing the pump and the 1 second of air escaping brings it to zero psi. I really wanted these to work but for me they haven't. I'm messing with them again right now, trying to solve the problem.

Really simple and effective kit. I was considering going to stiffer cool springs, but then my Land Cruiser would ride too high when I didn't have a load. This let's you have whatever stiffness you need!Note! You can run two lines and have separate Schrader valves (in this case, the kit doesn't give you enough hose length!). This gives side to side control, but more importantly, it provides more roll resistance. If you TEE the bags to one valve, then the air transfers side to sideand doesn't give you the roll resistance. Best of both worlds would be to have a valve added where you could use either mode so you have good roll resistance on the street but more flex off road (if you're into that like me).

No more sagging in the rear end while carrying a heavy load or towing my camper or boat! This is much more important than people realize. There are many unsafe problems if the back end is sagging which, in turn, causes the front end of your car to come up. Prevents sway, keeps front tires all the way on the road for better steering especially for an emergency maneuver, keeps front end down so that headlights are not blinding oncoming drivers, etc etc. And all this is solved for $85 and 3 hours of your time! We shall see how long they last, but this is a great solution.Installed on 2000 Toyota Land Cruiser.

I installed these on my LX470 to help offset the hydraulic suspension pressures on the rear shocks. They were easy to install and are great to keep my rear shock pressures within specs. I recommend these if your trucks squatting when loaded

Didnt open the box when I got it.Now that I am ready to use them thereis four items not in the kit, the small rubber ends that mount on the top and bottem of the air bag. If installed with out them I stand a chance to punch a hole in the bag.
