Works Great
Rolls to a stop now instead of locking up the wheels. I can also pick the front of the toy up and move it around easier as there is less rolling resistance. If you do that too much the resistor will get hot tho.

Does it’s job
Slows the toy down upon initial throttle so it doesn’t jerk the kids around. Good buy, should be standard on all power wheels

Placed on peg Perrago Gator
I placed old bike tread on the wheels of my kids gator 12v ride on toy. This was great for grass and hills, the slick tires could bite now. Doing this caused the gears in the tractor to ‘click’ upon stopping because stock design locks wheels once the petal is released. This product resolved the problem, allowing the toy to roll to a stop quickly without grinding the plastic gears. On a hill the gator will roll farther than flat ground. On flat ground < 1 foot to stop.

Reducer…..more like eliminator!
So 1st it’s super easy to install! But after install it didn’t brake at all! My driveway is has a slight slope and when I had my kid tested it…. It just rolled and rolled till it hit the flat spot. If we drove it to the park which involves going down a hill I bet it wouldn’t stop at all till the bottom. If you don’t want brakes just cut the wire!!!

It's ends that hard brake every time the pedal is released
It was simple to wire in and took care of the hard brake every time they release the accelerator pedal.

Defective
Ordered 2, 1 is bad. Seller is giving me a hard time on replacement and wants me to visit their website for diagnosing. I already diagnosed it> module pluged in the Power wheels works intermidently, unpluging the orange wire and module all together it works fine but obviously no braking feature. Swapping module to an identical Power wheels i get the same intermident cutoff. Its simple, not rocket science. Seller claims its impossible for a resistor it to fail this way. Not likely.. maybe. Impossible..i dont think so. Good luck
