Viva Natural Chia Seeds are high quality!
Chia seeds are a FIBER power house. 8grams of fiber per serving. Nothing else edible beats this for me. Measuring them out, I make Chia seed pudding with 3 TBSP chia seeds, 1-2 tsp agave syrup and 1 cup of almond or coconut milk. I don’t need fancy. I just need fiber. They recommend letting it soak a few hours beforeeating as chia seeds grow 10x their size or more. Go ahead and get fancy adding cinnamon, vanilla extract or fresh cut fruit. Super easy and convenient and helps me meet my fiber needs of 25-30 grams a day. Most American diets contain less than 10grams. This brand is the freshest and best chia seeds that I’ve tried so far. I’ve tried 5 different brands from different companies. The other brands don’t plump up and taste as good. I hate to say anything because then these will sell out, but I’m giving one for the team. Best chia seeds!

Good Brand
Not much different than any other Chia Seed I've purchased, but the price was good!Arrived intact, fresh. Recyclable packaging, which is of concern in particular. Bags are sometimes tough to scoop out, I transfer from the bag to a screw-top plastic container.I purchase other Viva Naturals products. A good brand for other needs.

Total Pregnancy Lifesaver!
Anyone who's been pregnant knows the many challenges you can and will experience with your body. One of these is getting enough fiber to keep the bowels regular. Now, I am a nurse, who knows the importance of eating healthy, and I continued doing so while pregnant, even more so because I increased my fiber, ate more vegetables and fruits, tried Hemp Seeds from Trader Joe's (these also work, but are pricier) I drank even more water than I ever had before (8-10 glasses/day) and it was barely enough. How frustrating! In the tons of research I did, I read Chia seeds were a fantastic addition, not only for the fiber but also for the incredible nutritional content. I was impressed. I was also convinced enough and also frustrated enough that instead of shopping around, I bought my first, super tiny pack in a Home Goods even though it was pricey. Yes, when you're pregnant and you need to get your body going, you will try anything.Let me just say, they were good, and I was really, really happy with the results Chia seeds gave. I was so happy with my personal results I wanted to have more, but didn't want to repurchase the ones I had before for the previously stated reasons. So what did this pregnant nurse do? I researched some more and ultimately came across these Viva Labs Organic Chia Seeds and I ordered it.My impression? I am happy. Why? Because these are high quality, organic, the package is releasable, and these are 2 pounds for a great price! I couldn't have asked for more. I will definitely be buying these Viva Labs Chia Seeds again when I run out, because the quantity, quality and price point, I haven't found any where else. I can ultimately say that these keep me regular, are tasty, add a nice crunch, and are truly so incredibly easy to use. I use these in everything I can. I add 1 tablespoon in my oatmeal, I add them to regular cereal, I throw some into my Veggie Shakes, and I've now started adding these to homemade pancakes. They look like poppy seeds, and when you add water to them, they take on a gel-like consistency. Because Chia seeds absorb a ton of water, they are great for keeping you hydrated, as while your body is processing them, they release their water content. I add water to them before adding any other ingredient, if you don't they will absorb whatever fluid you add after and you'll end up with a dry dish. If you want crunch, don't add water prior. As you can see in the picture, i'm already halfway through. Really great product!

A Good Value
I primarily use chia seeds in my morning oatmeal. It provides a nice little crunch while increasing protein and fiber. The price on this item is good as is the quality.

Good product - healthy addition to your diet!
Chia seeds have essential fatty acids, Omega-3 which give health to the heart and brain. It has fiber, which helps with digestion, keeps cholesterol levels in check, and makes you feel full and hence also helps in weight loss. It also has the proteins which are necessary for building and repairing muscles. I add it to my pancake recipe.
