These really, really work. I have hung Christmas lights and even roping and if you follow instructions as far as cleaning the area and using during the right temperatures, they stay up until you want to take them down. Easy to remove when you need to. Work great on house siding to hang decorations where you do not want to use nails.

I tried some other stick on hooks, but they couldn't make it through the summer heat. I was skeptical these would work differently, but I was wrong. These work great and held up during the hot summer sun beating on my door. I also used them on my patio, and they held up for over a year. I needed more for stringing more lights, and I was glad to get a nice big pack for a great price.

I bought to hang up my Christmas lights outside around the home. They held up pretty well a few of the clips did fall off and needed a new sticker for the clip. I did use 3 on the inside of the home to hang lights and when taking off command hook off the wall. One of them did peel off the paint. I'm happy with the outdoor Command Hooks and will buy more for next year.

I used these to attach fairy lights to my balcony, so we strung it across 4 types of surfaces. Bear in mind we cleaned all 4 surfaces when we were sticking so don't say it didn't work because we didn't clean the surfaces k.When attached to metal, it held well. When attached to brick, it held well. Where the adhesive failed was when used on the ceiling, and on the painted wall. Those fell and we had to find other ways to attach the lights up.I love that these are clear and easy to snap the strings of lights into. The clips themselves are quality and great. It's the adhesive that's iffy. I'm glad they gave us a few extra strips since some fell (but it wasnt enough)

I used these for a 16 gauge extension cord (8 mm diameter). Even though it was a bit thick, I was able to snap the cord in without breaking the clip. Once the cord was in, it wasn't gripped tightly, so it was easy to slide the cord through the clip.I've never had one fail to stick to the wall as long as I followed the surface prep instructions, and waited at least an hour before putting weight on them.

I absolutely LOVE these clips. For once I don't dread the end of the holiday season and the taking down of our outdoor lights. I typically decorate the banister of our front porch with some cheap, strip multi-color LED lights. Last year I wrapped the banister. HORRIBLE idea. Putting them on was annoying, taking them down was awful as the lights would catch on every spindle. This keeps them uniformly placed and in place. I did use a few on a concrete step, I don't believe that they are going to do very well on that material but thought it was worth a try. For my 5'x12' long banister two packs of 16 clips was perfect. At first I thought I only ordered one 16 pack, but was very pleasantly surprised for what I had already thought was a reasonable price when I opened the package and there were two packs. It's put me in the decorating fever! All I can think about is what doorway or window I want to hang lights around next.

Not sure if I got an old package, but my command strips had zero adhesive and were not sticky. They fell off of the wall immediately after trying hanging my garland. I also received an opened package and 1 was missing.
