I was elated that it came as a kit... all the dots and the board. The board holds the dots. The board's hinged section does not allow the dots to slide easily across it. But the best thing is the low cost... one cannot build it for the Amazon price of less than 14 bucks! As my grandson (9) was leaving to return home, he asked if he could take the game with him... at the time we said, "No" but we immediately ordered a second one and had Amazon drop ship it to the two grandkids. When they get it, they'll surely be thrilled!

I bought a cheap version of the board game, yes.. but it shouldn't have come with a piece snapped off. Will be wondering when the next piece will easily break as well. It was hard delivered by UPS. So could have happen.ed at any point.. not very impressed with keeping a busted game board.

I've introduced this type of board game to my grandsons. Getting beyond checkers and getting them to think strategically with this game has allowed them to grasp chess better. GO! and Chess are not just another dimension added to checkers, the player lives and dies based on their own moves and not necessarily the mistakes their opponent makes. If my three-year-old grandson can learn it, you can too.

The first thing I noticed was that the board has a strong seal when closed, making it ideal for travel. The stones are held in nice little cases keeping them sorted and protected. That being said, there were still many scuffs and manufacturing blemishes on most of the black pieces and some of the white one. Additionally, because of the method of storage, the white stones have a small dark circle on top of each from rubbing again the magnet of another stone. There is an extra bag with extra stones in it. Only 2 stones had lost their magnets upon arrival, which I was please about because my other magnetic go board I own had more than a dozen missing magnets. I found the printing on the board didn’t quite line up perfectly but a small push on the side lined it back up with ease. I appreciate the stone’s crisp ridges as it makes picking the stones up off the table decently easy. The magnetic strength of the stones is sufficient to keep them from moving when the board is tilted or flipped upside down. This is a fantastic travel game for anyone who likes deep strategy.

The pieces (or "stones") are enough for the whole board.

I really like the boards matt surface and the way the stones are stores within the board. There is no danger of them falling out and the magnetism is strong enough to hold the stones to the surface, but not too strong either!If you are looking for a light everyday travel go board I think this is the best compromise between style and portability! I used to own a small 13x13 japanese travel go board (with little holes for the stones), that was the epitome of portability, but this feels much nicer and of course offers a 19x19 board to boot!

While it's fun to play and easy to carry around, the boxes for the stones pop open when placed inside the board and spill everywhere. Several of the magnets were loose and fell out of the stones before the first use as well. However, it is probably the best affordable option for this game and I would still recommend it if you don't want to spend too much money on it

Great for travel. With the following enhancements, it’s be 5-star for me:- stronger magnet- magnets keep dropping out of stones; should be glued in- stone container lids hard to pry open

La livraison c'est faite en 2 jours, le colis est neuf, aucun problème mise a part la notice en anglais, pour moi c'est bon mais il peut y avoir des personnes que ça gêne.Le plateau de jeu est un peu plus petit que ce à quoi je m'attendais mais cela ne gâche en rien le plaisir pris au jeux.

El estuche es muy mono, comodo y práctico.En cuanto al juego GO, que yo no conocía, me ha encantado, y desde luego me parece totalmente recomendable para que los niños mejoren su visión espacial, lástima que los míos ya son mayores y que no lo compré hace años!

La caja estaba golpeada de una esquina y el producto quebrado. Al abrirlo una esquina del tablero estaba estropeada.
