I was extremely impressed about the product that I had to put my two cents in. The fit on the phone was very spot on. It's barely there and does not add anymore bulk on the phone. I can only assume that others reviewers issues with the fit is due to the wrong case being applied on the wrong phone. The build is very sturdy and has a great solid feel. Now, for people who would ask what the need is to place a case on an s5 active when being hardy is probably what people chose it for originally. It is because it eliminates most of the remaining issues the s5 has regarding the conducted drop tests. Most of them pointed out that the back cover and battery would pop out easily. Due to the case enclosure this is not an issue anymore. And while I must admit that any in closed case like my previous otterbox will do the same thing , it would cost 3 times as much and it would not be this ergonomic nor it would maintain the phones natural aesthetics. It really does feel like Samsung made this case except for the tiny barely visible supcase logo on the bottom of the shell. The side bumpers will offer protection on the most vulnerable part of the glass which are the glass edges and the ridges which hug the screen create enough space to protect from a "face down" drop. The packaging was a bit too bare for my liking but nothing that distracts away on how this case is well built. Very satisfied.

5 stars! As other users have said, the case fits like a glove. The sides are a firm matte plastic that feels much like the phone originally did, so it looks like it belongs there. I like the fact that the acrylic back now raises the depth to the point where the camera is inset instead of sitting on the table, which I didn't like about the phone originally. The case also keeps the side buttons from pressing on accident, which fixed another issue I had. The case adds a little more lip on the front of the phone, and also adds a lip on the back so that when you set the phone on the table, you don't worry about scratching the screen or the acrylic back of the case. Well thought out. The phone now feels like a tank with a nice grip, but still keeps the phone on the slim side. I use this case with the LUVVITT tempered class screen protector, they make perfect companions. Only con - the acrylic back is smoked so if you have the camo color it isn't going to show through much. I was skeptical, but this case is really great. It is how the phone should have been designed in the first place.

Einstein once said everything should be made as simple as possible but not any simpler. As a mechanical design engineer I have always aspired to this principle. This case is that as perfectly as it can be in my opinion. This case actually enhances the phone's design. The buttons are less sensitive but still be responsive when deliberately pressed. The case almost disappears into the phone adding almost no bulk whatsoever. The texture is the perfect amount of grip in the hand but smoothly travels in and out of your pocket. The charging port cover is very easy to access and is strangely gratifying to open and close. You will see once you try this out for yourself. The headphone jack opening has plenty of clearance without being too big. The center back is transparent with a smoke tint and adds to the athletics. I have the titanium color Galaxy 25th Active and this cover pairs beautifully with it. I can't speak for the longevity of the phone yet but I can say that the phone case feels to be very robust and should be looking good and serviceable for years to come. So far I highly recommend this cover. If my opinion changes I will revisit this review I the future. However, I seriously doubt that I will. This is a durable, professional, form fitting case that works perfectly with the Galaxy S5 Active and doesn't add a lot of bulk! Remember, the S5 Active is a different design and will not properly fit any other S5 phone. Those who commented it doesn't fit correctly most likely overlooked for which model it was designed.First of all, don't expect this case to last forever. If you're looking for that level of protection you may want to consider the defender style cases. However, this phone will add a decent level of protection without considerable bulk and adds something that is sorely missing from the S5 Active, which is grip. I can truthfully say that I kept the case on the phone for about 98% - 99% of the time. I only removed my phone to clean the really pesky dust that always manages to wedge between the case and the phone. After about 10 months and removing the phone about 5 times to clean it, the bumper started to separate from the back panel. Considering the price and the fact that case protected my phone from countless drops of 4-5 feet, I consider this acceptable for the price and the peace of mind. Take note that it does not offer any screen protection. I would strongly recommend using a tempered glass screen protector with this case.All in all, this is a good, durable case that will last a decent amount of time for the price. It isn't perfect and will not last forever. But if you keep your phone in the case most of the time, use a tempered screen protector and don't excessively abuse you phone you can expect it to last a suitable amount of time. If you are looking to buy one case that will last forever or if you like to have a different color/style case each day of the week, then this will not be the one for you.Just my $.02
