We purchased the 12" brushed nickel and placed on tile in the shower to hold wash clothes. It is a nice style and adhesion so far in a hot shower is still holding (it is under shower handle - not where it receives direct water flow). Follow instructions, make sure you know where you are placing it, clean area, make sure it is dry, hold in place for 30 seconds or longer and secure with painter's tape - do not use for 24 hours (I took that as "do not put weight on it for 24 hours" - we did use the shower within 24 hours). Looks great and works for holding 2 folded wash clothes.

I use this towel bar to hang wet bar mops and keep them off my kitchen counter. It's the perfect width and is attractive and unobtrusive in the kitchen. I gave it 4 stars because it required extra effort to install--I ended up having to glue the bar into the supports because it kept falling apart as I tried to adhere it. Gluing the bar will also keep it from rotating around inside the supports. I positioned the supports pointing downwards because I think it looks better that way. I don't know how sturdy this bar would be if you hung a full size towel on it, but for my purposes it's perfect.

Awesome if you don't want to use told to install. It holds my towels nicely.

The towel bar I had kept getting loose so I bought this one. I hate trying to level towel bars that screw into the wall. Inevitably, I get one side a little too high and it's not level. This is so easy to install, and I just covered the screw holes with this one so it's a win/win. Super easy to place the level on the towel bar and slowly adjust and press the adhesive into place. It's level and I don't have any additional holes in the wall I need to patch.

I decided not to use the adhesive. I drilled them and attached with screws as I used them to hold up spray bottles on the inside of my kitchen cabinets. Works great!

I’m short so I needed to be able to put it where I could reach it. I don’t use tools, so it had to be easy… and it was!!!!

3½ months later (original review below) . . .It's official: I am an idiot. I took a shot and ordered another one.And it's every bit as misaligned, in exactly the same way, as the first one was.In my defense, this time I ordered the 16-inch bar. I thought maybe the 12-inch batch was just bad, so I'd hoped that a different size might have been spared the defect.NOT.So, bottom line: there appears to be zero quality control going on here between the assembly line and the customer.P.S. And there IS no way to install the two plates perfectly straight and to simply opt to let the bar stay slanted. A soon as the plates are perfectly straight, the bar can be inserted into only one of them—the hole in the other one is no longer aligned enough to allow the bar to go in.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It’s not STRAIGHT. (!@#$%?!)That is, the horizontal bar and the two vertical plates holding it up are not perfectly perpendicular to one another.When the bar is perfectly level, the two adhesive plates are slanted by several degrees—which you can see with the naked eye, but which is all the more noticeable if you (plan to) install this bar on tiles, where the grout lines will highlight the misalignment.And if you were to align the two plates perfectly with a vertical level, the BAR would then be on a horizontal slant.There is no way to make this work; the whole thing’s going back into the box, unused, and being returned.And I’m super-disappointed, because while I really love this bar and would normally request an exchange on a defective item if I love it, I don’t dare order another one of these for fear that they’re all misaligned this way.

It stuck so well at first, was really impressed but then after 2 weeks of holding up i just discovered that its coming off. Hanging on it is just a small bath towel, not very heavy. The rack is nice and modern, it's just that self adhesive isn't that good.

The adhesion is incredible. Be sure you know exactly where you are placing it. It doesn't appear you will get a second chance to adjust. Using it in kitchen on kitchen island.
