It's the INTERFACE stupid
I was hoping to give this unit a great review, good fast processor, great picture, enough RAM & memory 5G, (1) USB 2 and (1) USB 3, but the interface is very 1980. I bought this mainly to update and replace an old media player, plus a bonus to go on web, stream media outside of Roku & Fire Stick. The interface is very dated, and since the USB ports (2) are for media, you would think that they would make that an easy feature to operate. My old media player would read the hard drive name, select it, select the folder, play the movie. There are no instructions. It came with several programs, none of them are very good. The Remote: Many of the problems of the out dated interface could be mitigated with the addition of play/pause, stop, forward and reverse buttons. Going back and forth with mouse mode is a hassle. I'm not sure why they have ten number buttons - media buttons would be more useful.Summary: I don't think the manufacturer is very committed to the product. If they were, they would have a couple of basic apps to play media and a simple file manager specifically for the product. Instead, they rely on generic android apps, mostly for phones. As a media player, it is not great but passable. It does pack a lot of features at a competitive price compared to other android boxes. I went back to my old media player but I'm going to continue to play with this unit. YouTube has plenty of videos about Android apps. As for now, I can not recommend any Android unit. If you have media, you can use a Blu-Ray player with a USB input for H264 (mp4, mkv) and some AVI files. A basic Blu-Ray is cheaper than most Androids, and have an easy to use built in app to play media. Also, you can use the PLEX app & your home internet to play media on your Blu-Ray player or smart TV with a computer. Roku also uses the PLEX app. Amazon fire removed PLEX, There is a replacement but it is a poor substitute I won't recommend.

Responsive, easy to set up
Bought this unit to replace a broken Mi Box I had. Set up was very straight forward. The box includes the power adapter, HDMI cable, user manual, and remote (note: the remote didn't come with AAA batteries, but it was fine i had some lying around). To my surprise the box is very fast, and the remote is responsive. One gripe I have with a lot of boxes is the crappy reception of the remote to the box. This one was very snappy with the remote. It has some preloaded apps, but all were useful and unlike other boxes it wasn't cluttered with crappy apps preloaded on the machine. It has 2 USB ports available, which is perfect for me as I like to play local files. All apps run smoothly!

ONLY ONE USB 3.0 PORT!!! 2nd port is 2.0
I had been searching for a while to see which Android 9.0 box I was gonna replace my H96 max boxes (with android 8.0) with when I came across this one. I liked the fact it had the same style remote as the H96 and upon trying, they were both interchangeable. The power adapters however are not as the H96 has a much larger male end plug than this one. I have to admit, THE ONLY REASON I gave this box a chance over the other ones I researched was due to the fact it advertises (2) usb 3.0 ports which I have NEVER seen on ANY other Android tv box ever and due to all 7 of the reviews being 5 star. Well imagine my dismay when I opened the packaging and looked at the box and saw only ONE usb 3.0 blue port and the other one is the standard black 2.0 port and not like the picture shows in the advertisement photos! I nearly put it back in the box to get ready to send back and probably would have except that this was for someone else and not my own personal use. I decided to go ahead hook it up and try it out. first impression is I LOVE home screen interface. It is exactly just like my Sony TVs that I have had for a couple years now. ...basically how a firestick home screen is and you scroll through the apps from left to right and you can move the app icon placement order around. Kodi is not preloaded in this box but was a breeze to download via the google play store app. Speaking of which, with Android 9.0 I must say this is the first android version that allowed me the ability to download ALL of my saved apps in my play store account library without any saying this "app is not compatible with this device". So that was great (that's a kudo to the android system, not the box itself though). I did install a large kodi build onto it (no limits build v13.1) and it worked flawlessly with no noticeable lagging. Other apps loaded quick and was very responsive. If it wasn't for the fact of the false advertising of 2 usb 3.0 Jacks this would have gotten 5 stars. I'm not sure yet if I'm gonna order another one of these. I order a lot of tv boxes for people and install various kodi builds for them and I'm not sure this is gonna be my new go-to box as I have not seen anyone else with this same box, meaning when this seller sells out of them I won't be able to get the same box from another seller. Probably will try a few other mass produced brands like the X96 next. I hope the seller reads this and removes that picture with the 2 usb 3.0 jacks.

Poor wifi
This box gets much warmer than others I have tried. Wifi 5G max at 35, ethernet @100 so you should hard wire internet if you buy this box. Unit runs fast and smooth but I wonder how long it will last because of how hot it gets. Sling tv runs great, but Netflix and Amazon Prime are only in sd.

Good box limited by cheap HDMI cable
Connected the box to a Samsung 4K TV and only got a black screen. After a while I was able to access the settings menu via the SET button. Eventually I was able to get it connected to the network, update the software, delete some unnecessary stuff. However, the picture was only present for a few minutes at a time before the screen would go black. It was necessary to repeatedly press the SET button to return to the settings and then back to home.I swapped out the short HDMI cable that was included with a known good HDMI 2.0 capable cable and all the picture issues disappeared.I would only rate this box four stars because navigating around seems a bit slow. One star was dropped because of the cable.

Easy to setup
Very easy to setup once I figured out the remote. Once I got my wifi set up, I was off. I did have to uninstall mobdro and reinstall it from mobdro website. I already knew how to do this because I have a firestick. Netflix would not update and play so uninstalled and can't find it in playstore to reinstall. Over all the device is great so far!
